@Kate Flournoy–It was kinda tricky…it was mostly like writing in third-person omniscient since he was telling someone else’s story, but getting into the house’s “head” and using his voice was a bit of a challenge. It was a blast to do, though!Thank you for all the welcomes, everyone!
@ Daeus–Thanks for asking! I write everything. Probably because I read everything. My last book (the one I hope to self-publish) was a kind of sci-fi/world travel/fantasy twist in a real world, and the house was my narrator. My next book, I hope, is going to be more along the lines of a “prodigal daughter” story–something more down-to-earth than my last endeavors. We’ll see.
