Thanks!

It was titled “The Monster Upstairs,” and I’m thinking it may have come across as a little too dark for some. But I have definitely seen obviously Christian books featured on there, although they aren’t always the most popular. I guess that’s the world we…[Read more]

It was great! I would highly recommend it. Not only did it force me to figure out how to put together things like marketing strategies and my novel cover before release, but instead of simply submitting to an editor and getting refused it gives you stats–how many pageviews your campaign gets, how popular it is with readers–and if you’re accepted…[Read more]

@Kate Flournoy–It was kinda tricky…it was mostly like writing in third-person omniscient since he was telling someone else’s story, but getting into the house’s “head” and using…[Read more]

Thank you for all the welcomes, everyone!
@ Daeus–Thanks for asking! I write everything. Probably because I read everything. My last book (the one I hope to self-publish) was a kind of sci-fi/world travel/fantasy twist in a real world, and the house was my narrator. My next book, I hope, is going to be more along the lines of a “prodigal…[Read more]

I’ve been keeping up with Kingdom Pen off-and-on for several years, was recently reminded of it, and am surprised how much it’s grown! But here I am, finally creating an account. I am Liddyanne on the OYAN forum, and have been for years, although I rarely get on. I’ve been to the last 3 OYAN summer workshops. I have been writing…[Read more]
