@DonyClark I actually listen to music more than I watch it, but let me tag a few others for you who might better be able to answer your question. 🙂

@Leumeister dah— I’m swamped too. 🙁 I wish I could because beta-reading is one of my favorite things ever, but I have… ehh… —none of your business how many, just too many— XD projects right now. Definitely do find an accountability partner though. The Writers Corner topic is also a great way to stay accountable.

@leumeister But proximity doesn’t determine who you choose as an accountability partner 😛 Mine is half-way around the world.
I saw someone on Y-Dubs ask for one like asking for a room mate 😀 They requested a certain age (which I think is fair enough) that they like the same genre, which makes sense, and stuff like that.

@leumeister There’s not really one right way to do it. It depends on what platforms you use. I use Google hangouts and we message each other our goals for the day in the morning and then check in at night (normally). But you could do the same thing with Facebook Messenger, or private messages in the YWW or email. Groups can help keep people…[Read more]

@leumeister Why me specifically?

@Leumeister I’m busy, I’m afraid. 🙁 I wish I could, but… time. And life. One tip about motivation though – you could find an accountability partner. Each morning email or message the word count or writing time for the day then hold each other to it. I’ve been doing that with a friend recently and it helps immensely. When I sit down and don’t…[Read more]

@bethanysinkyroses Yes! Some of my readers when I am published probably won’t write it either, so if you like to read poetry, but don’t write it, you can give me all the feedback you want. 😀
@perfectfifths Okay, I think you need to email the kingdompen people here: kingdompenmag@gmail.com, telling them you that that you are beta-reading for me.…[Read more] -

@hope @jane-maree Don’t worry, guys. I totally understand saying no. No is probably a more important word that yes is, don’t you think? 😀
Although, I will tag a few others…

@Leumeister Argh, I very sorry, haven’t seen this till now. 😛 (My tag has Flournoy on the end. But no matter at all.)
I didn’t have to really formulate guesses…I’ve been MBTI typing people so long I can generally pinpoint a specific type without having to analyze it a ton. I had a general guess and then I went a little deeper to check my…[Read more]

@leumeister Yes, like Wall-E. But think about it a little harder. Is he just a bumbling robot? The writers of that film were a little on the nose to prove otherwise.

Aaand now that that’s over . . .
For the last week of the month of June, I’ll be posting random tips that might actually be useful (unlike my deconstruction of sub-genres) :). I’ll tag random people so they can follow this thread throughout the last week of Sci-Fi Month and (hopefully) read the sub-genre deconstructions that I posted earlier.…[Read more]

@leumeister I have dragon snapper’s email, but I need yours too. 😀 Also… *sighs* I’m afraid not. Interested I may be, but time I have not. XD I’ve been trying to cut down on most beta reading this year because I tend to take on too many things and I simply don’t have time. Not yet.

@dragon-snapper Just email us… kingdompenmag@gmail.com Tell me who you are (cause I might not recognize you without the dragons. 😉 ) and @leumeister can do the same, then I’ll email you both the other’s address. 😀

@Leumeister Well, they’d probably be good. 😀
@Ethryndal *brandishes red sword with maniacal cackling* Muahahahaha.
BUT actually, it’s punctuation. Not grammar. Big difference. 😉 Grammar deals with the words and sentence structure and stuff…punctuation is that group of little black marks that make holes all over the page. *solemn nod* But…[Read more] -

@Leumeister *facepalm* Seriously? *headdesk* Well. That or ENFP was what I initially thought, but then I thought, nah, his sister’s an INFP. Surely two siblings close in age (at least I assumed you’re close in age) wouldn’t both be INFPs. I had no logical analysis for basing that on, I just for some reason thought it unlikely. *sheepish grin*…[Read more]

True, I haven’t even seen a koala in the wild. I’ve bumped into a kangaroo though and narrowly avoided them with the car.
Another myth that they may or may not have heard is that our internet runs on gum trees. That’s why it’s so slow.
I’ve never seen a koala in the wild either, @anna-brie.
I don’t think my internet is all that bad. I’m fairly happy with it. Even Steam games, which are fairly big, being a few gigabytes big each, download fairly quickly. 😛
I’ve seen kangaroos in people’s yards if they live in the country.
We have kangaroos in our yard. And our internet isn’t all that bad. It’s not brilliant, but pretty good. It used to be bad, but we changed provider.
I just noticed that you forgot to tag @gideon-sowdon
I see kangaroos on a daily basis. ALSO YAS KOALAS. I’ve seen them reasonably frequently too.
MY INTERNET TOTALLY RUNS ON GUM TREES. XD XD I’ve never actually heard that one before?? But it’s great. I should start mentioning that to American friends… XP
@jane-maree I got that from this blog post. http://paperfury.com/10-things-didnt-know-about-australian-bookbloggers/
@anna-brie oh woww. XD That’s hilarious.
@anna-brie, this is one the best things I’ve ever read. She’s a great writer! ;P I was literally in stitches
Here’s a question. Do you guys have deer? If not, I’m thinking that the American equivalent of kangaroos is deer.
@clairec
@jane-maree
@anna-brie
@leumeister
@dragon-snapper We have deer, but they’re not native, and I’ve never seen them. Unlike foxes. They’re also not native.
@dragon-snapper what Anna said. And the lengthy conversations on deer and kangaroos that I’ve had with Americans I can confirm that they are comparable-ish equivalents. 😛
*ahem*
