Logan Black–main character (hero)
Gabriella Kamiyama–secondary character (good guy, daughter of Yukio btw)
Blake Aricson–secondary character: antihero
Daren Azimalik–villain
Jonah Cnatonus–secondary character (hero)
Yukio Kamiyama–villain (big baddie)Interesting how you came to similar, but different conclusions.

@leumeister. Another Studio C-er!!!! I read your title and said to my sister, (That’s HeatherC, those of you who know her) “That sounds like Lobster Bisque!?” And she told me that that was ridiculous to suppose. And here I was right all along. 😛 I just went and did a victory dance all around her! 😉 When I heard you guys were from Perth I…[Read more]

@Leumeister I did when I was younger, but it was pretty awful. 😛

@Leumeister welllll… should I say it?
*thinks*
No, better not. Think of an unrelated example.
*thinks again*
No…
Yes…
No…I’m gonna say it. 😛 I actually already had a story idea with this thematic premise. The hero and the villain both have the same goal— accomplishing world peace and ending all wars. The hero doesn’t know exactly how…[Read more]

@Leumeister you already do quite a bit of showing, and that’s great. But there were several instances where you told that could have been stronger through showing. It’s the difference between this line:
She sauntered over, still trying to display an air of authority, coming in closer to examine him.
and this line:
Pandora sighed, placing her…

@Leumeister yes, excellent idea. That way the emphasis is not on the goal itself, but why the antagonists/protagonist should or should not deserve/accomplish it, based on the rightness of their worldview.
Also a very good point, @Anna-Brie. I agree.

@leumeister, Hi!! I’m Australian too! Before, @bluejay, @anna-brie and I were the only Aussies. It’s okay if you’d rather not say, but where in Australia are you from? And I noticed on @perfectfifths introductory thread that you guys are siblings. I live in Brisbane. Anyway, Welcome! Oh and by the way, you title (Hey guys, hi, um…) reminded me…[Read more]

@Leumeister ever painted textures on 3D models? Nope. Probably because I’m extremely uncivilized and disorganized and prefer going free-hand with everything. XD
And yes, Emma and I are sisters.

@Leumeister I like it! It’s got the bones of a great story. One thing I would say is you tend to tell sometimes where you should show. For instance,
She sauntered over, still trying to display an air of authority, coming in closer to examine him.
is pretty good, but it would be stronger if you simply described what she did and gave us the…[Read more]

Hey, if you’re on KingdomPen, you probably do digital art too! Writing a story in a word processing program! XD
@Leumeister Heh, I s’pose that’s true. 😉 (So I won’t be misleading in any way though, I’m not exactly a writer; I write reports sometimes but not books. I know and love the writer stuff though (and being around writers 😀 ) because I…[Read more]

Scrapbooking… it’s taking memorable “scraps” from your life, say a photo or a concert ticket and putting it along with creative accessories into a book. (similar to a photo book)
Mine usually ends up with lots of glitter in it. It’s enjoyable and a fun way to save your memories. And sometimes uses lots of stickers, which is okay…[Read more] -

@Leumeister wow, I am so late… 😛 But, better late than never. Welcome to the realm of the Kingdom of Pen! So pleased to have you!
Digital art? *perks up, pricks ears* Heyyyy, I do some of that myself. Still very much a novice with actual digital painting, but I do enjoy it.

@leumeister Wow, I didn’t even know digital art was something the average person could do (I thought it was all like Pixar animation and stuff that takes decades of college training to learn) Which shows how much I know about it. 🙂 So yeah, good job on that!
Cool name, by the way.

@mark-kamibaya I would be inclined to agree with @leumeister, except for Yukio Kamiyama, which doesn’t hit me as villainous. (Sorry, Leu, hope you don’t mind. 🙂 )

I mean, it’s not perfect of course, but even as it, is it reads well. I’d probably want a good synopsis of the story before I would decide to read it and I couldn’t give a definite opinion of the book until I had read the whole thing, but you get a big thumbs up for writing style.
