@Anne-of-lothlorien I feel like to ought to say something, but I’m too busy laughing to think of anything clever.
BRAVO, dear. This is… it’s just… yeah. *thunderous applause*

Hi @jess! Nice to see you again. 😉
I don’t have too much to say about this, but I will lend you one thought: life isn’t always happy. What I mean by that is, we might like to think that happy endings lie around every corner, but that isn’t always true. Sometimes it’s the exact opposite.
What does this mean for you? It might mean that you need…[Read more]

Yes! It’s the one you and I were talking about, with our kingdom names. Mine takes place in the land of Allora. @catwing
It’s a coming of age story, about a young princess who has to find her place in the kingdom’s two realms.

The last Writers’ Corner stopped at 54 pages, so I just made a new one. And I tagged you in it, @catwing
I’m working on my new WIP! *grins lovingly at it* It’s new and shiny.

The other ‘Corner was getting rather long, wasn’t it? *grins* Also, I wanted to start one because…why not?
Ahem. Here we go. @catwing @jane-maree @seekjustice

I like the diary style, but I don’t think it fits the potential this has. What I mean is, I think it would be cooler in first person, more like an actual story. @daeus

Of course! The Corner is open to anyone who wants to write. Or at least, let people know they’re writing. @xonos-darkgrate

*snorts* There are, in fact, nine writer’s corners, but only because the other ones grew to be so long that we had to stop using them. Actually…we should be coming up on the end of this one shortly.
Anyway, the purpose of the Writer’s Corner is simple–it’s a kind of accountability thing, where one of us will start writing, tag others to let…[Read more]

*blinks* Wow, @daeus, this is really neat. Definitely a cool concept. I agree with @dragon-snapper, though–I think it would make more sense if it was in first-person. Other than that, it sounds great. I’d definitely want to read more.

@Ethryndal OH that makes sense too…yeah. Whenever I see fancy dresses in non-fantasy looking collages, I automatically think steam-punk because where else would dresses be worn? 😛 But no, that fits too.
Come to think of it, she’s only that evil 60% of the time.
I’m glad to hear it. 😂
She sounds seriously intriguing though.

@Emma-Flournoy Actually… no, no it’s not. More like fairytale. She’s a stepsister. (Whether it gave that impression or not… I kinda forgot about creating a proper atmosphere.)
Come to think of it, she’s only that evil 60% of the time. I suppose the collage caught her at a bad moment.

@Ethryndal Ohh. Whoa. She looks to be a character all right. Vena LaVere? Right? The name FITS.
Is the genre steam-punk-y? That’s sorta what it feels like, with that dress and the bottle (be it filled with caustic wit or anything else). -

This is the thing about Kingdom Pen: You go forever thinking someone is 18, but it turns out, they’re actually twelve or something. This has happened to me on multiple occasions.

…you’re younger than 15? @xonos-darkgrate I did not see that coming.
