*leans back and grins smugly* Nope, I left it to settle for a bit. I’m pursuing a new idea, and my new blog. @dragon-snapper

@dragon-snapper *dashes in, late to the party, as usual* This, my friend, is why you’re my friend. That was beautiful.

Happy late Thanksgiving y’all, and may we never forget to rejoice in God for the blessings he has given us.

Well, I’d respond to this, but @dekreel already did and nailed it. I’m struggling with this in my WIP, but I’m not quite to writing yet, so I don’t think I need to worry about it?

@Dragon-Snapper LOTR and Hobbit gifs are good things. Especially concerning food.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too! Be thankful this day that the supply of virtual chairs is unlimited. Ahem.

@ethryndal That was far too much LOTR for my liking.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

@seekjustice A fact for which you’ll do well to remember. *snobby elven sniff*

@Seekjustice I have literally no clue what this conversation is about, but I have been summoned from the great depths of the… deep… and I feel it my duty to make my opinions on this subject clear:
Legolas is awesome.
Elves, in general, are awesome.
That is the beginning and end of the discussion. Thus says the official KP elf.

@seekjustice, *gets into a defensive stance while clenching fists*
-Legolas is so perfect and insufferable…how so?
-Plus I hate his hair…his Elf hair? All Tolkien Elfs have that hair.
-Does he contribute anything to the plot? Â Not particularly…What? What do you call everything he did? Without him Aragorn wouldn’t have done half the…[Read more]

@waterlily If the story needs just a few tweaks, I’d push through and keep going with what you’ve got. Sometimes stories have a way of writing themselves, and sometimes characters do things that we didn’t plan for. It happens. I’d push through and keep going.

*grins* Can I just say that I really, really love that you’re using Thirteen for this? I’m so excited to see her on the show.
I can definitely see the problem you’re having, and I’ve experienced it before. I’d say for starters, you should explore the relationship between the Doctor and this Riddler person. Does he/she have a connection to the…[Read more]

@emily I’m so sorry. I really did mean to get back to you earlier, but it looks like someone answered before I could.
My current WIP uses a bunch of different “fantasy” aspects. I’m not sure there are any characteristics that would properly define a fantasy novel in the way you seem to be thinking. A fantasy is something that isn’t real, so most…[Read more]

Concerning maps…
^This was my first attempt at drawing a map. I did it when I was 12 at a restaurant because I was bored and needed some form of reference since my characters traveled a lot.
^This was my re-draw I did a while later to make things a bit more clear for myself.Mostly, I draw maps for myself as a reference to make sure I’m staying…[Read more]
