Well I’m late to the conversation, but whatever haha.
I asked the same question a while ago, and I think for the most part, my conclusion was this-
There’s a pretty fine line between characters cussing for the sake of having that type of language in the story and having them cussing for a more “realistic” quality. I mean, not every character…[Read more]

@ariel-ashira, that’s awesome haha. The extent of my research tends to be around things like whether or not you can boil emu eggs or not.
Unfortunately, I have not. I really do plan to, eventually, but yeah- that mainly means I have to actually finish one first haha. Which I haven’t, so. . I haven’t. My problem seems to be that I can’t wor…[Read more]

Nice haha. I could never put as much time or effort into research as is needed for accurately portrayed historical fiction, though I wish I could haha. Oooh, I like dystopian. One or two of my WIPs are dystopian, though I haven’t worked on them in a while.
I’m not so disciplined as you, heh. 😛 I just write whatever pops into my head; so I h…[Read more]

Hey, @ariel-ashira!!
Yeah, I’m not sure I remember you either haha. So it’s good to meet you. But thanks hha.
Well, I write whatever pops into my brain. So I guess anything except romance haha. Though I have been writing more thriller-themed things as of late? Or I guess poetry, if that counts haha. How about you?

Alas, all my get-rich-quick schemes have failed, and once more, I have fallen onto my, er, glutes.
I apologize if this is a little late or excessive, but I’ve been gone for a few months short of a year. And I decided that everyone would (obviously) be super dooper excited to see me back haha.
Well maybe not quite that, but it’s good to be back…[Read more]

A lot of things, frankly, don’t deserve attention. Not that that’s ever stopped anyone haha.

@rochellaine Well, I’m not too fond of Scarlett, but overall, it’s a very well-written, profound book. I love how the author pays attention to detail. The society, the world and the emotions feel so real, it’s nearly palpable. Overall I give it a 6 out of 10.
I need to get off. I might be back later tonight. See you guys later!

@rochellaine That’s a great way of putting it. . .
My writing is. . . okay. . . I’m considering writing a steampunk novel sometime in the future. Maybe a steampunk retelling of Gone with the Wind. That would be cool.
I’m not on Story Embers as often as I should, so I can’t give a clear answer. What I do know is that it’s thriving.

@rochellaine Hello, old friend!! I shall forgive your calling me “little wolf” because I miss you. 😉
*blinks*Â Oh, I’m alive. I’m alive all right. Albeit distant. Yeah, let’s call it that: Alive yet distant. 0.o
I’m doing fine. School’s been killing me and I’m really bad with procrastinating. . . But. . . yeah. Yeah, I’m okay. How’ve you been?
