Huntress
“I…I didn’t think abut it earlier, I don’t know why, but before we leave this place behind, we should head back inside and look for cloaks. We’ll need them.” Gabriel said, and he looked like he was about to say more before a scream rang out.
The four of us whipped our heads toward Lucy, the girl he…[Read more]

Lucy
“Oh, I’m… peachy.” Lucy finally rolled onto her back and coughed, staring up at the person above her.
Her vision stopped spinning and she found that the girl was a young, probably younger than Lucy. The girl had long brown hair and a button nose, not to mention an expression between disgust and curiosity.
Lucy blinked. For a…[Read more]

No…no! No! If I had just reached her…if I had just stayed with her…it’s my fault…
Bro it was not your fault. She was right behind you and you were doing your best.

Lucy
“Mhnn… no, you can’t find me yet. Not ready…” Someone mumbled nearby.
Lucy threw up on the grass. She was too dizzy to open her eyes, so she turned over to face the voice and curled into a tight fetal position. She buried her face into her rumpled trousers. “Uugghh… Shhh-Shut up…”

Oh wow, that was a big crash out. I’m sorry, Gabriel. I’ve really been making life hard for you. But also it’s very cool that you managed to break through the wall.

Lucy
Lucy needed some space, so she sat next to her family door. The letterbox was dark and the faint buzzing had stopped since she was last there. She propped her elbows on her knees, covering her face with her hands.
Her feelings were always so confusing. Her chest often held a deep, inconsolable frustration that had…[Read more]

@whalekeeper In my published books? Plenty! Mostly because they were written for kids with special needs. My main character has a speech impediment, and each of his friends has something different: colorblindness, deafness, one uses a wheelchair, and one has sensory issues.
In my fanfics? Not too many, admittedly. Most of my characters are…[Read more]

This is very random but I was talking with my brother this afternoon, and KP came up. He asked me if any of y’all have physically disabled characters and if so, what are they like?
Does anyone have a physically disabled main or side character? What is their disability and what is the character’s role in the story?

This one’s my most popular one, even though it’s not really that good. There are a few glitches and virtually no lip sync.

Sniper
“Yes. Two hairless creatures, one no bigger than a large cat. I wouldn’t consider it a threat though, it was very easy to kill. The second was like a mutated dog, but the size of a horse. It makes a clicking sound as it walks and has a long whip-like tail. It’s relatively quick and athletic, but killa…[Read more]

Now I’m even more glad that Soldier and Sniper didn’t get the chance to kill it…..
She’s more of a character now.

I forgot her eyes were closed lol
lol maybe the wyrm (that’s who she’s talking to right?) is immune, or maybe it was just “her head was angled in her general direction” cause I’m sure the basilisk has a different way of sensing the world, like smell or hearing.

Huntress
“How did the half-Changeling injure her head? Have you also encountered monsters in this labyrinth?” Gabriel asked.
Sniper counted off every strange thing we’d encountered together. “Some flyin’ things that weren’t quite birds, or bats. Then a cave troll that Solly and I killed. There was a lizard of some kin…[Read more]
