That’s fair, I’ve just come to accept it, seeing it as one big story where I’m switching perspectives constantly, but it can be frustrating when it comes to being invested with particular characters, especially when series like Stormlight already switch perspectives constantly.

There’s also a few Novellas that are specifically to discuss the Cosmere, like the Ars Arcanum book, and Mistborn: Secret History. I’m still waiting to get a hold of either of them right now, but I heard they clarify a lot of things.

I agree with her on that assessment. I enjoyed the original trilogy far more, but WaW is still a fun journey, and it reveals a lot of great Cosmere stuff, and I’ve heard that LM is incredible, and drops a lot of Cosmere bombs, so I’m still excited. You might as well wait and read some other Cosmere though if you haven’t gotten to it yet to prepare.

Fair enough, lol! Yeah, I’m the same, I might read White Sands eventually, because it has unique Cosmere intel, but it’s not vital for LM.

Huh. I thought that he wasn’t going to require outside information until Mistborn era 4 and Dragonsteel.

It was a recent decision on his part, as of last year actually. It may be annoying for readers that don’t want to deal with the other series, but if your at the point of WaW 4, your probably already pretty invested and aware of the Cosmere.

Yes it is. I didn’t get is cuz it was only available in hardcover.

I’m probably going to read Elantris. White Sands, though… graphic novels aren’t really my thing.

Yeah, then there’s Reckoners, Alcatraz, and Frugal Wizard, which there’s something that actually suggests the latter two could be within a multiverse, though it’s likely just an Easter egg. It could be rationalized that a few of them could be in a multiverse because of Frugal specifically.

Maybe I’ll just read into them on the wiki and read lots of reviews on Goodreads 😅
