Yeah, it is kind of operatic, isn’t it?  The guy who wrote it also wrote operas, so I guess it shows through even in his more popular music.  I think it’s a popular standard, though, so you may be able to find a version you like if you look, since every singer has a different style.

@seekjustice 😛  It’s better for book 2 Justice, though, since it’s about a man who wonders if God has forgotten him.  I’ve never decided whether I like the song or not, because it’s pretty hopeless, but it feels to me like it matches the graveyard scene where Justice is “in despair.” 😉 (was that a graveyard?  It’s been so long since I read it.)

@seekjustice Oh yes, I care about him a lot because he’s the brother of my MC, and I forgot that he’s actually not that great of a person.  So yeah, I guess you wouldn’t care about him too much.  But Bathshua does! 😛  Maybe I should say don’t get your hopes up that he will die? It was FREEZING here for a while (we got some good snow), but it’s warmer today. I was watching the news a couple days ago, and Chicago, IL seems to be getting some of the worst of it.
