Oh, it’s supposed to be josiebeth… how should I change that? XD
@Skredder I’m not currently reading anything, but my to-read list this week is Mere Christianity, A Wrinkle in Time, and Fearless Writing.
@Rochellaine I don’t think I’ve seen any, but I’m trying to watch more shows.
@Kaya-Young Thank you!
@Daeus Yay! A cloak and dagger!

@jenwriter17 So do I! The images section contains gold!
But…I actually used a personal picture in this one. @kaya-young If you’re interested, here’s a collage I made for my western:

@seekjustice I never saw a sparkly bear; I never hope to see one; but anyhow or anywhere; I’d rather see than be one! 😀
@notawriter It wasn’t very hard to find an illustrator. I created a topic on the KP forum titled “Looking for an Illustrator” and got a few answers. I think it took a couple weeks before I got a definite agreement from s…[Read more]

@kaya-young Yes! Owen! 😀 I love that name too! My favorite fictional character ever is named Owen (So once again my opinions are biased whoops)

@kaya-young Great idea! I’ve been thinking about doing this as well, because my grandpa can trace our family history back to the the first settlers who came to America from Ireland and it would be nice to have it written down.
I agree with @seekjustice on the relaxed writing style. I find that historical books written in a storytelling-type v…[Read more]

@ingridrd I would hand you virtual blueberries but according to my story, those aren’t satisfying. 😀
@seekjustice A robber who steals parts of walls? That is hilarious! It reminds me of Gilbert and Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance who have strict rules about what kind of ships they are allowed to attack honorably. 🙂 Wikipedia article he…[Read more]

Greetings!! *tips hat*
So as you know, I am writing a Dr Who fan novella (I think I’ve started one too many topics exactly like this XD). Its setting is in the country of Taranar, which contains the Red Chasms, which homes hundreds of Chasm Beasts like myself. But unlike myself, these Beasts are evil, even bloodthirsty. (total and constant…[Read more]

@kaya-young Is that from a show? Andy Griffith show maybe?
@rochellaine Okay, here goes….
“There’s only one God, ma’am. And I don’t think he dresses like that.” Or something like that.

Hi everyone! I have a children’s picture book I’m planning to publish around the end of this month or the beginning of next month. (I am currently working with an illustrator.) But though the story is complete, I didn’t pick a name for the protagonist, and I think it would be a smoother read if he had a name.

@jenwriter17 Yes, or a book. My quote is from a popular girls book written about a Canadian island circa 1900…Does that give anyone clues?
@kaya-young That sounds like it came from a movie – but then, I really only watch classic movies, so how would I know? 😀 Is it from Disney?

First of all, yes this is a cool idea! And I definitely think that there would be other people in your local area who would find it interesting! I’m not sure what it’s like in America, but in Australia local and family history is very big and a lot of people write books on it. They can be very interesting if they’re well written!

@perfectfifths Hooray! My brother quotes that movie a lot. 🙂
@dekreel I didn’t notice the second quote the first time. The word “dynamic” makes me think of the dynamic duo (Batman and Robin) but it is highly unlikely you would use a quote from the 1960s here, so I’m sure that has nothing to do with it. 🙂

@perfectfifths Actually I used that website to get the names of half my characters. Thanks, I definitely try out words in other languages.
@rochellaine Ok. Thank you for the suggestion! I’ll try it out.
@kaya-young That’s a great word! I’ll probably play around with the spelling, but I really like it. Thanks!

@kaya-young Okay! I will…after my scanner starts working properly again and I can upload it.
@sarah-anson WOW! Thanks, that really helps!
Boys’ eyes are easier to draw, at least in the type of manga I am somewhat capable in drawing. Girls’ eyes also have the eyelashes, which take time to ink in. But that’s just me.
