@seekjustice @catwing should take vanishing lessons from me. 😛 Sorry about that! I’m back for a very short bit.
The thing is, a voice is intangible, so…how could it be disemboweled? 😛
Oh…sorry about that. I’ll work on it a bit tonight and in my spare time. Not annoying at all, please keep reminding me! If I don’t do a thing as soon…[Read more]

@seekjustice Great! I had a really fun laugh today over reading someone describing a voice coming over a speaker system as “disemboweled” instead of “disembodied.” 😉
How about you?

@seekjustice Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport is very funny. 😀 (I just looked it up) I think I shall learn it and teach it to my little sisters.
Oh, I’ve heard the Baby Bumblebee song! My mom wouldn’t let us sing it when we were little because she thought it was disgusting. 😛 To be honest, I have to agree with her.
I’d better get some sleep, so…[Read more]

@seekjustice Oh, the lyric I just heard!!
“That’s why the people are revolting, ’cause Louie, you’re pretty revolting yourself!” (parody song about the French Revolution.)
That’s why I asked if you’d heard of Camp Granada, because I’ve been cracking up over a whole bunch of silly songs written and sung by the same guy who wrote that one. 😉

@seekjustice Aw, too bad. Well, what silly kids songs do you sing in Australia? I’m guessing you don’t sing Yankee Doodle and Oh Susanna, 😉 but I wonder if there are any I’d know besides the Kookaburra song.

@seekjustice Ah, yes. 🙁
Haha, I had a lot of fun (and admittedly a deal of annoyance) learning to type with my right hand when I had poison ivy on my left hand. I found I could type nearly exactly half as fast as with both hands. Which…makes sense… 😛
Have you ever heard the silly kids song Camp Granada?

@seekjustice I’m sorry…um…what does RSI stand for? I’m assuming it has something to do with your strained arm a little while back?
I’m not planning on trying NaNo because I failed so miserably at Camp Nano the last couple times. 😛 I’m not a very fast or consistent writer, and I know I won’t be able to get the full word count of, what, 5…[Read more]

@dekreel Sorry, I disappeared, and am about to disappear again. But I was watching YouTube documentaries about different ways visual effects and clothing and acting styles are used in films and excusing it by saying I could use it to improve my writing. I love the fact that nearly everything I do can be listed under “research.”

@rochellaine You had asked me a few months ago if I had read Twice Freed. I read it about a week ago, and liked it. (Although I still like my Onesimus better. 😉 )
I’ve never read the book Treasures of the Snow, but I have seen the movie.

@seekjustice I have! I like Treasures of the Snow and Twice Freed. Which ones are your favorites?
I don’t know if they’re meant to be parodies or just references, but each book does seem to have a themed connection to some big well-known tale. I’ve never read the Lord of the Rings books, so I wouldn’t have recognized that one. There were a c…[Read more]

@seekjustice Well, I believe they’re aimed toward younger kids. They’re not amazing, but they’re cute. The Seven Sleepers series is really confusing and badly organized, but makes more sense once you notice that each book is a parody of some legend or famous story, including Narnia, Atlantis, Star Trek, and others.
My favorite part of R…[Read more]

@seekjustice Well, Edith Nesbit wrote mostly fantasy, right? So, no. 😉 My little sister has a series about a blue and yellow striped dragon. I don’t remember what it’s called, but I think it’s pretty well known. The other fantasy series I’ve read are the Kingdom Series by Chuck Black, Seven Sleepers by Gilbert Morris, and the Terrestria Chr…[Read more]

@seekjustice Let me clarify what I’m sure you already know: I have no problem with women earning money. My opinion on that is just really complicated, and I didn’t like a couple of the themes in Alcott’s books.
Just in case what I said about Alcott was confusing. 😉 I think I just made it more confusing. 😛
Oh, I was meaning to ask you, what…[Read more]

@xonos-darkgrate Oh, cool. I prefer realistic myself, but a lot of the people on the forum like the modern styles. Haha, I was about to ask you what fandom it was for. I guess it’s not. 😛
Do you have any writing projects you’re currently working on? (not necessarily at this moment, just ones that are in progress.)

@seekjustice Oh, didn’t I? Whoops! 😛
I used to like boys books way more than girls books, because they had more adventure. Now I like both. We also had a lot more boys books than girls books when I was growing up because I have an older brother… 😉
I like Alcott except for her feminism, but that’s hard to avoid in any case. Jo’s Boys is…[Read more]
