@dragon-snapper I can get 500 words done in 20-30 minutes if I focus. Like I currently am not doing. But I’m 500 more along, hence this quick ‘break’. Now, back to work.

@dragon-snapper Yep, still here. 1000 words down, 2000 to go. 🙂

@overcomer @aella @dragon-snapper @daeus I’m going to be writing for the next few hours, trying to get 3000 words in, if anyone wants to join in.

@Jess Exactly! I’m INTJ too. 😉 But while I’m not heartless, I take a certain amount of gleeful pleasure out of being viewed as heartless, with ice in my blood, etc. Don’t as us, ahem, me why. Yes, I talk to myself in my mind. First person, second person, even third person… *glances to either side warily* Wes not completely insane, preciouses? Are wes?

@winter-rose. Not sure which one was my favourite, I read them so fast they all blur together. All the more reason to read them again 🙂
@christi-eaton No worries. *bursts into an extremely passionate rendition of Stars as I disappear off among the rooftops*

@jadamae GREETINGS, FELLOW QUIZZER. At least, I assume you’re a fellow or former quizzer since you asked about it 😛 I quiz with CBQ and we’re memorising Luke this year. This is my fourth (and last… so sad to grow up) year doing it, but I’m just as excited about the upcoming meet as my rookie 12-year-old brother! My standard goal is to spend…[Read more]

@his-instrument I’ve not read Les Miserables, but my sister has.
I loved The Princess and the Goblin and The Princess and Curdie. Then it came to the end and I was like wait…what?!?!?
I ended up not reading The Mark of the Lion trilogy for that very reason. The violence I didn’t mind, but Mom didn’t care for the depth of the romance and…[Read more]

@his-instrument Go girl!!! I did something like that once (10,000 in two days) and it’s not easy. 😀 I’m currently only at 6000 words. Is your story flowing well then, or are you just pounding it out?

I got 2006 words today, after starting the story twice and then going over and rewriting the first 500 words. I’ll need to streamline and cut down the story later, but I’m pleased with the voice of the MC so far. 😉

@winter-rose. I LOVED the Wingfeather saga! Speaking of which, I should pick them up again, I’ve only read them once. I’m not NaNoing this year (drat it for being in November when I’m busy memorising for Bible Quiz tournaments), but I’m still hoping to work a lot on the novel I’m doing with my sister.

Wow, thank you everyone for the more-than-hearty welcome! You’re right @rolena-hatfield, this is going to be far more fun than merely stalking you all 😀 Now to answer a few of your questions…
@kate-flournoy The fact you’ve actually been WAITING for me to join the Forum blew me away! What a compliment 🙂 I don’t really have a set genre (though…[Read more]

@Anne-of-Lothlorien I’ve read a few, like The Princess and the Goblin. I really like them.

Welcome @Sierra-R! Welcome to the best mixture of weirdness, randomness, encouragement, and occasional theological discussion on the internet. You shan’t be disappointed. Though, of course, having stalked us, you know that already. 😉

@mark-kamibaya. Our family just discovered Vidangel a few weeks ago and we LOVE it. It allows you to watch some really good movies that perhaps you wouldn’t otherwise (ex: Forest Gump), and you can’t beat the price!

*tries to slip in without being noticed* Su cuy’gar! Sierra Ret here, the last of KP’s new writing interns to introduce themselves. I’ve never been a part of a forum before, so the past few weeks I’ve sort of been observing from the sidelines. I can tell you that I definitely like what I see (so many crazy book nerds, all in one place), so I’ll…[Read more]

@mark-kamibaya Yes, we started using Vidangel recently and it works really well…besides being only $1 for a movie after the original $20 is paid.
