@kate-flournoy Well, somehow I edited 1,251 words. I think my concentration was exceptional this time. I don’t know if this is the reason, but I tried putting an empty line at the beginning and end of the passage I wanted to edit and told myself that I was going to get that passage done and I did and then did another passage.

I love both those ideas.

My idea of creating a plot twist is fairly simple. What will the reader not see coming? What could never happen? What would destroy everything if it happened? And then I have to do it without destroying…[Read more]

Unfortunately, the first one won’t work because there is no mentor figure. The second one won’t work because that would totally ruin my ending. The fourth one won’t work either because that’s just not my MC’s character…[Read more]

Thanks @kate-flournoy, I will. If you have any other diabolical plot twists to suggest, I’ll probably add those in too. I’ve decided to go for the stress factor this time. Murphy’s Law and all that. I still have a lot of planning to do, but I have a feeling it will end up pretty good.

Aww man my email didn’t alert me to this. Time to do some deleting of junk *shakes head and decides to procrastinate on that awhile longer*
Anyway, I did manage to write 103 words on a new story earlier. Not good but at least it’s something. Great jobs @kate-flournoy and @daeus!

I did get the problem fixed, thank you. I just got this kindle and it wasn’t connecting with our wifi router, but my dad figured out that some setting was blocking my device and so he changed the settings and it worked.
