@lady-iliara *grimace* That is, thankfully, the first time I’ve ever done that.
Well, you should fit in well here. There’s a lot of INFPs.

@lady-iliara Really? Haha! ENFJs forever!!!!!! (I’m an ENFJ) How sad I couldn’t guess my own type. 😮 *shakes head* I guess I should have latched onto the fact that you wanted to read through all the forum topics for a sense of completion.
Whenever you get done with writing about hobbits eating pancakes, make sure to post it on here. 😀

@supermonkey42 Wait, wait. Are you actually a male? Sorry, that’s just really rare here. May you wear a black cloak all your days and writer’s block ever flee from you.
Fyi, The Last Jedi trailer is probably more exciting for me than most movies I’ve watched. 😉
Oh, I forgot to say welcome. 😛 Ooops. Welcome to the bestistest place on the…[Read more]

Hi, @lady-iliara. 🙂 Chocolate and raspberries be upon you.
I can try to guess your type. ENFP? I’m at least sticking with P.
What do you write? And what do you sing? (equally important)

@supermonkey42 WELCOME WELCOME. *shakes your hand enthusiastically* I’m glad you’ve found your way to this part of the internet. 😀
Yay for Star Wars fans! Which is your favourite of the films?

@daeus That sounds really cool! It also sounds like something I’d write (only I’d do first or third person – probably first – just because that’s my writing preference)… 🙂

@northerner Yes! I was thinking stepladder, but that’s close enough to stairs! XD

@emily I’m not really worried about 2nd person being too hard. My main question is whether it would be too weird for someone to read a mystery only to find out that they are the criminal. 😉

@Ethryndal I guess I automatically assume that the guy will get the girl (or the girl will get the guy, whatever) so it would be a sort of unique twist to make it that they didn’t end up together in the end.
Personally I love it when fairy tale retellings are done in completely different genres. Like a steampunk beauty and the beast or a sci fi…[Read more]

@ck4always I can try to help with some small things. Next month will be really busy for me (I’m crazy enough to try NaNoWriMo for the first time!), but I’d love to help where I can! 🙂

Hi KeePers,
What do you think about me writing a 2nd person short detective story?
The twist is that the POV character would be both the detective and *spoiler* the criminal.
I have no idea what the plot would be. 😛
Am I crazy or is this actually conceivable?

@Daeus it’s pretty cool! You could make the shadows a little heavier which would be a very subtle ominous layer, or add a little shading to the white around the whole picture. Not sure though.

@ethryndal You have a great question. I’ve been wondering the same things lately. What I personally expect in a fairytale are knights and castles, princes and princesses, magical objects, enchanted places or things, and fantastical creatures. Probably someone in distress, and cruel stepfamily. Also objects or events occurring in threes, sevens,…[Read more]

@Daeus oooh! I really, really like it. You’re right— the clean, clear format is very smart and refreshing. A little texture in the background might improve on it, but just a little, and I might change my mind if I saw it.
A subtly ominous feature could work… but it would have to be very subtle to not overbalance the nice clean look. *wrinkles…[Read more] - Load More
