I really like the villians in The Lottery. Unlike many other villians, it brings our attention not only towards a central evil character but instead towards ourselves, and how easily we fall prey to peer pressure.

@seekjusticce – you have a better memory then than I, since I barely remember me from on here

@selah-chelyah That’s awesome! The biblical themes of Hebrew make it one of my favorite languages, little as I can understand it haha
@leon-fleming We signed Donaldson away from you so there 😛

@seekjustice – I LOVE that one of your favorite authors is Victor Hugo. You don’t see that all that often anymore haha

@selah-chelyah DeBoer is the Dutch phrase for “the farmer.” I’m dutch, and my last name is boring. My first name is actually a lot more interesting from an etymological point of view, but that’s a whole big story
@devastate-lasting I mean I can’t quite promise, as I’ve never had the pleasure of owning a pet kiwi (seems quite on brand for these forums, however.)@leon-fleming I’m a Twins fan, although I’ve kept up with the Braves fairly well over the years. I’m especially excited to see if Comargo ends up starting at 3rd or if that becomes Austin Riley’s job this year

@devastate-lasting that novella type length feels like it would work perfectly for such a long series. I’m excited tosee how it ends up turning out!

@devastate-lasting I have no idea. I find the idea of a kiwi squared amusing (the beak of this creature is actually quite similar to a real kiwi bird, so that’s surprisingly biologically accurate). It was more a product of me having no idea what picture to put, and copying over my discord PFP.
@selah-chelyah To be totally honest, I’m undecided. The school I’m going to doesn’t have math or science (thank goodness) so basically anything they offer would work out for me. I chose the school more because of the culture than anything else. I was fascinated by the idea that it could both interact with the world, and also maintain a firm and central Christianity, which wasn’t a pairing I saw done well in many other schools.Seeking to love those I do not know/ failing to let that love show
Curious what you mean by reverse romance – I’ve never heard something like that before haha

@devastate-lasting that’s super interesting! How long would each of those books be?
(And if their long, how fast can you write, because 52 full length novels planned already sounds intimidating to me haha)

Oh hey, I remember you. I have absolutely no recollection of what my old username was (oops) but we were in a class together outside of Kingdom Pen!
Good to see you again!
