“I don’t plan to be,” Ellis said. His sword blocked the blast of fire, but it pushed him backward into the wall.

He dodged to the side and lunged forward, stabbing towards the monster’s middle.

Ellis held up his sword, and a barrier of green light flashed as the webs disappeared as though they had burned up.

”You can do better than that!”

Ellis

Ellis dodged aside as the thing changed again, this time into a giant snake.

How do we beat this thing?

It was time to try something reckless. Ellis stopped, back against the wall.

“Alright, come and get me you overgrown worm!” he called. His legs tensed, ready to move if it attacked him again.

Ellis

Ellis rolled to the side as the thing shot sticky webs and balls of acid at him. He brought up his sword to block another.

Gritting his teeth he charged forward, dodging left and right, trying to be unpredictable.

He lunged towards the monster, sweeping at it with his sword.

”I’m going to look for Fennin,” Ellis said. “You three stay here.”

He headed down the hall. Pretty soon, he heard a clamor.

What now?

Ellis turned the corner to see Zahlin being attacked by a monstrous…something.

Ellis drew Conviction.

“Hey you!” he shouted. “Whatever you are, prepare to die!”

Krenna

Krenna extended her fist toward Fracture, then generated a crystal blade from it.

I have to go too! Bye for now!

Krenna

“Most people don’t have bones in their brains, stupid! Maybe you do and that explain why you’re so dumb.”
