You could even start a prompt if you wanted.

Oh. Well, this just shows I know more about animal anatomy than saddle anatomy…which is probably normal.

Note: elk have antlers not horns. An elk would probably be offended.

Me neither. Must be enemies mixed with M&Ms.

Did you intend to write “enemenemies” instead of just “enemies”?

Yeah, I don’t like big cities either, but it probably isn’t as weird for us—we’re only an hour or so from Milwaukee.

The thing is, the way ChatGPT works, I’m not sure if it even can come up with something completely original. I just don’t think it would work well.

Not in this case. I have given it this stuff and asked it to generate names based on them. The names it gave me were super generic fantasy names, some of them just directly ripped from existing franchises. In fact, I also asked it to generate fantasy names without giving it anything to base it on. It had a bunch of the same names.

Well, er… not really. I mean it would be cool, but I have no idea how to do that.

Yeah, I guess when you have multiple genealogies, you shouldn’t go marrying people between them. At least, not multiple times. I think I did that once somewhere in mine, but only once which prevents me from ending up with weird situations like you did.

Technically in a genealogy, everyone is related. Everyone is the child of the previous person. How exactly did you end up there?
Mine is technically nine genealogies in one, so not everyone on there is related.

Um, what?

I’d love to fill out this geneology completely, but that’s not gonna happen. I calculated that to cover the 20,000 years from the founding of the Eivir to the time that this story is set would require 500 generations, which assuming that each person was an Eivir for 40 years before passing it on, which is most likely nowhere near average.

Although I guess Latin doesn’t belong in this world…

Hmm… I didn’t think that was particularly out of place. I would guess it originated from Roman times or something. Let me see…
…
It is latin, but it seems that it was actually from the Middle Ages, which means it fits even better.

@everyone
One thing I could use some help on is the linguistics for this world. If this isn’t your area of expertise, feel free to ignore this. I know that at least @thearcaneaxiom is interested in this topic.
I have a rather gigantic list of essentially just names. I’ll paste them in…[Read more]

I haven’t played that much of either, so I doubt I’d even be able to tell the difference. I did enjoy both though. I remember more of part 2, like the ending. I’ll just say 2.
