The main differences would be that modern day would have cars, computers, and more high-tech security systems. It depends on what characters we add. If someone has a literal hacker, then obviously there need to be computers.

Does the ghost have to be a version of them, or could it be a version of another person? I think that a lot of my characters would be more scared of a ghost-version of someone else than of themselves.
