Rina —— Elderstrand (w/ Jirah and Rosemary)
The five Ironwalkers charged towards Rina, who braced herself for a final stand. But halfway there, they suddenly stumbled, falling forward on top of one another. Rina realized they had tripped over a rope stretched between buildings like a tripwire. The figure of a person peeked…[Read more]

Rina —— Elderstrand (w/ Jirah and Rosemary)
One of the guard’s rushed Rina with his sword, but she kicked him in the hand through a portal, knocking it from his grip. Now unarmed, he threw a punch, but Rina opened a portal that caused his fist to be redirected into his own face.
“Retreat!” shouted one of the guard’s,…[Read more]

Oh, I was under the impression that your group was right outside. But I’m not in that one, so I haven’t been paying as much attention. I was referring to the other two.

Oh, also, I put together a google doc that contains a list of all the characters, as well as their description, so if you ever need to know what a character looks like or who they belong to, you’ll be able to easily check. I’ll try to update it as there is need.
I’m not going to post the link right here, because it will stay on the internet…[Read more]

@raxforge @rae @the_lost-journal @grcr @whalekeeper @loopylin @beth-torres @highscribeofaetherium @hybridlore @ellette-giselle
I’m thinking about sending in the NPCs sometime soon. In particular, for the two groups in Elderstrand, I think a good time to do that will be coming up.
For the other two groups, it can happen when you want it to. I…[Read more]

@highscribeofaetherium @beth-torres
Since I got here first, I will take the liberty of declaring that Klethen was the one that got knocked down. (Sorry, Klethen.)
Ilahna —— Elderstrand (w/ Klethen and Everett)
Out of nowhere, something knocked into Klethen throwing him to the ground. Ilahna scrambled backwards, beginning a low tune to…[Read more]

@beth-torres @highscribeofaetherium
You’re welcome to have your character join me and Jonas’ if you want (unless he objects for some reason).
I don’t object.
And @jonas, I know it’s my turn to RP, but my brain doesn’t want to right now 🤷♀️
That’s fine. I just did that so that you would have the opportunity to if you wanted to.

I suppose. I’ll just open things up for you to take this where you want.
Ilahna ——— Elderstrand (w/ Klethen)
Ilahna glanced back and forth down the darkened streets, and dread returned again as she remembered how lost she was.
”I…I have no idea.”

When lifting something, a Strings appears as a glowing outline around it, or at least—for larger objects—a partial one on the side it’s pushing from.
I think I’ll wait to reply, because I’m not sure where they should go, but it looks like there might be some commotion in another area of the city, so they could get attra…[Read more]

Rina —— Elserstrand (w/ Jirah & Rosemary)
Rina dropped to the ground and peeked around the corner. “Hmm… that’s—what? Five, six, seven, eight of them? Eh, I think we can take ‘em. What do you say?”

Alright!
Rina ——— Elderstrand
”Okay, then,” Rina said. “You don’t think there are more of these guards around? You search on the ground. I’ll follow on the roofs.”
Rina dropped through a portal and onto the roof of one of the buildings. She scanned the nearby streets, but didn’t see anything. The city spread out…[Read more]

It took so long because when I was writing it I KEPT TAPPING OTHER LINKS (on accident, obviously) THAT TOOK ME AWAY AND DELETED WHAT I WROTE 😤😠
A common lament.
Ilahna —— Elderstrand, building roof
Ilahna frowned. “I…used my Strings.”
Levitating with Strings wasn’t necessarily easy, but it was fairly common for s…[Read more]

Ilahna —— Elderstrand, on a roof
This stranger was decidedly odd. His look of non-comprehension, Ilahn gathered that he didn’t know what “4th Voice” meant. That meant she must be somewhere far from home, with an entirely different cultural hierarchy. But then, Klethen claimed not to know this place either. How did two…[Read more]

Rina —— Elderstrand
”I’m Rina,” she said. “And don’t worry. I am also horribly lost. I mean, where I cone from we don’t ever see that um…what do you call it?” She glanced up. “Pit? Abyss?”

None of them are super chaotic. The 2nd is probably the most, followed by the 3rd. But with the 4th, there are the logistical issues of getting onto a roof. But if you want to wait, you can do that and then see how things stand when you’re ready. @ beth-torres’s character isn’t in yet, so that might be an option later as well.

Yeah.
If you need a group to RP with, there’s one group that consists of Marcel, Sara, Felicity, and Ellis on their way to the city; another group near the city consisting of Baron, Leon, Julian, Flare, and Ben; a group in the city consisting of Rina, Jirah, and Rosemary (although she just left); and Ilahna and Klethen are on a roof…[Read more]

Ilahna —— Elderstrand
Ilahna took a step back in surprise as the man on the other roof suddenly appeared on hers through some sort of…hole.
“I am Ilahna Myhothia Anodel, 4th Voice,” she said. “And you?”
Based on his clothing, he definitely wasn’t a noble. He couldn’t be any higher than 2nd Voice, she supposed. But…[Read more]

Eh, it is a bit vague, but what I’ve sort have been imagining is that a Voice has to be a melody line of some sort to generate a String. The individual movement of the music is what allows the String to move, and the notes of a chord are kind of locked together in a way that doesn’t allow that. It makes sense in my head, but maybe i…[Read more]
