@seekjustice That makes sense. Poor Australia – no native bunnies! Tragic.
*laughs* Yeah, who are those two crazy kids comparing their country’s native animals over there on a writers forum?

Ariel Ashira replied to the topic Writers' Corner #17 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 11 months ago
@seekjustice Wow. That sounds terrible.  Yes, they are native here.  Your rabbits don’t sound like ours much.

@seekjustice Interesting. Do the rabbits just eat things up?

@jenwriter17 Boy, do I have the same problem! I was cursed with some freckles too, and a hair color that some call “sink water”. 😀 Yeah, I am praying. I like to remember that God is writing the greatest story of all, with his children as the MC’s, and thankfully I don’t have to be beautiful to be His character!

@rochellaine I have held a dying baby wild rabbit for my sister before, too! And it looked like that one, except it had a white streak on its head.
*glares at @seekjustice for thinking its not cute* OH, its an Australian thing. *smiles and gives you a chocolate rabbit*Â wait, do you have chocolate bunnies in Australia?

@kaya-young, I would definitely prefer the stories to be based off the originals than the new ones. (Sorry Disney, you obviously got them sooooo correct)
WRITE ONE!!!

@kaya-young…all of them??? I would like to finish this book before I die…
@princessfoo, I’ll have to look up that series, maybe grab an idea of two
@seekjustice, I just finished the Sisters Grimm series. I love Lunar Chronicles! Especially Thorne and Kai. (And Iko of course) One idea I had was to make the the MC meet 7 sisters who have to…[Read more]

@alia I would totally read that! I can’t think of any retellings that I want to see in a new light off the top of my head, but there is this book series called the Wide-Awake Princess by E.D. Baker that incorporates a bunch of fairy tales in it.
@seekjustice The Lunar Chronicles! *Squeals* I love that series!

@jenwriter17 well, that meme means that at least you’re trying
Its what I like to call…My Kinda Sorta Fantasy book, meaning its set in a fantasy world but there is no magic.
Jycin is a simple weaver in a simple village. Or at least he was. But when his sins lead to the choice of joining the hated priests or have his family killed, he discovers…[Read more]

Okay, so I have this idea that I have been working on for a while. Basically its that what if Rumplestilkin gave the queen his name because he was working for Gothel and didn’t want to give her the baby. Then Gothel went in and kidnapped the child herself so when when Rumple found out (2 years later) he kidnapped her again to return her but he…[Read more]

@jenwriter17, I noticed. I tend to read through the last page to catch up on what people are talking about, but I saw the name Justice and quickly went to the bottom

@jenwriter17, this reminds me a tad bit of my sister’s superhero book. Anyways, I really liked idea that her grandparents were good but she thinks they aren’t. (grandparents aren’t used much as more than place holders in most books) I love reading about grandparents with larger roles.

@jenwriter17, yep, I started it yesterday, and then the kids computer decided not to connect to the internet so I had to wait until I could use my mom’s.

…YOU BETTER NOT HAVE MADE JONAS OR RAIN VILLAINS AND YOU BETTER NOT KILL THEM OFF. If you did I will fly to Australia, hunt you down, and force you to rewrite your book.
(I’m on part two of the first one @jenwriter17 and @rochellaine…no spoilers)
