@Jess That doesn’t sound bad at all. It’s not a sin to be depressed. I have a cousin who had depression for a while, and she’s a Christian. Following Jesus doesn’t mean that we aren’t going to have hurt and hardships in our lives, so I don’t think it’s “wrong” to be a Christian and be depressed. @Jess that’s not terrible at all. I’ve never really struggled with depression, but I completely understand how writing could be an escape, and that’s okay. It’s good to get away now and then. Even if it’s only a virtual vacation. 😉

For me, it’s not so much escaping to another world, but I get depressed too and my writing is one of the things that feels concrete, and is always there for me to go to, and won’t change no matter what is happening, and seems to keep getting better even if I do have setbacks in other areas. @jess You’re not the only one like that. I love acting and sometimes I have trouble remembering what’s really and what’s not. I dream impossible dreams and waste a lot of my time thinking about the future. I guess that might be why Christ said not to worry about tomorrow. Think about today.
