@Aratrea I think the trilogy has an overarching theme of Sacrifice, but this particular one of the trilogy is judgement
Beginning: Protagonist is under the idea that justice must be served, and everything must be given to make things right. He is bitter with this thought of what it means in the case of his family. This devotion grows after his…[Read more]

Well, @Aratrea, I think I’m learning more here than I am at school!
People change when drastic things happen in their lives to force, insinuate or inspire change.
Past mistakes are the main cause of this, when someone messes up, they immediately move to try and not suffer the consequences again. Like when people train a dog not to bark by…[Read more]

Okay, physical poetic justice for MC…
He aim to bring justice by not letting the villains steal his blood to overtake the universe, and in doing so allows his sister to get tortured, and therefore is left with guilt that he can not be freed from?
I’m not sure if that fits as the physical problem doesn’t happen directly to him… I…[Read more] -

Quenya is really quite easy to learn if you want to, some part are ridiculously confusing, but, if you look on http://folk.uib.no/hnohf/qcourse.htm. It takes you through learning it, oh, and don’t skip the…[Read more] -

Theme- Justice
Experiments of Living
1. Aim purely to bring justice to the world, not caring who and what stands in their way. Justice is justice.
2. Always forgive, don’t retaliate, let things slide. Forgive and forget.
3. Keep your opinions so that they only affect you, don’t try to sway others to your side, they can live as they wish.
4. Weigh…[Read more] -

Wow, awesome lesson @aratrea. That is really cool, helping solve the whole character- plot thing. Cos generally I focus on making the character development most of the plot, but this works way better.
As for how I can put my self in my character’s shoes, well, I do a whole heap of online quizzes, pretending to be them, Myers-Briggs included. I…[Read more] -

Thanks! Again, an awesome lesson @aratrea! I have two themes in this novel, (First of a trilogy), but I’ll stick to working with one for now and work on the other one as I get the hang of this a bit more!
Theme- JusticeFocusing Question- How much should one be willing to sacrifice for justice?

@jess BTW, is there a reason for the craze (That you know of) for MBTI? I mean, my cousin asked me not long ago, (she’s almost the same as me, ENFP) and now another KPer, is it a big KP Forum thing?

@Aratrea Theme, I find is exciting because it is so clearly the basis of any good writing, and is a way to be able to reach people with Christ in a way that isn’t throwing the Bible at their face. Because that’s not so good. But the fact that there is something that means we can both write, and speak the Truth, that’s what I think is the most epic…[Read more]
