Ah huh. Thanks @aratrea, hopefully this one actually makes more sense, only 3 EiL’s.
1. The Characteristic Moment
Connor has been in a fight because he was trying to stick up for someone. He doesn’t care about how much trouble he will get in for it, he can’t just stand by and watch someone get robbed. He ends up in a whole heap of strife over it,…[Read more] -

Okay, so, I’m doing a character arc with 4 EiL’s and going in order of Positive – Negative – Worse – Better Positive. This is the arc over the first book.

Yes, we’re cousins.
Hm, well, she’s a really strong person who doesn’t let anything get the better of her and she always strives to serve others and the Lord. She’s patient, but firm, and is someone who you automatically respect. -

Hm, yup. Sketching out the character arc over the trilogy shouldn’t be too hard, just, a bit awkward. I still am devising the plot for the last book. The themes of all three fall under Sacrifice, and are Justice, Knowledge, and Mercy. So, all nice fun topics. So, with that in mind, I just do a rough out line arc? Just the unfleshed arc?
Looks…[Read more]

Well, with a cousin always asking where you’re up to, and havin have raved about it loooong before it was out, I kinda want to work through it any chance I have! Which at the moment is lots! (Yay for Work experience! )
So, yeah, happy to be getting through quickly! And, I mean, I can just keep referring back! Jut say if you think I should slow…[Read more]

Naw, thanks @jane-maree XD
Now I reckon it could seem awkward to say that I look up to my cousins, who have a super strong faith, which was partly what inspired me to take my faith more seriously! Oooh! We have lots of falling in the Silmarillion! And in the Children of Hurin, Mim’s a good example, starting off selfish, continuing worse.
And yes, in general you have Melkor at the start of the Silmarillion, he started good, then fell.
And fell.
And fell.…Yes… but it was reliving when eventually he received the justice, and I didn’t…[Read more]

Oooh, probably the character arc in the Ilyon Chronicles with Jace. It’s amazing as it shows such a change in his nature, that makes you grow with him, feeling every emotion, it was so beautiful!
