Rory slowly shook his head. “Rescue us? From the Government?” He gave a short of laugh that ended more like a choked sob. “He can’t. One man against the Agents? And a shepherd no less?”
Rory bit his lip. Tears were stinging his eyes, and he didn’t know why. For one moment, looking up at that picture in the glass, he had felt safe. For…[Read more]

Yes he is! he’s such a darling.
Rory
Rory paused and looked about, his eyes wide. There was something about this place. It wasn’t just the quiet and sense of protection. No, there was… peace. Yes, that was it. Peace. Something Rory had never truly felt.
Leo was moving forward, saying something about the back door, but Rory stood…[Read more]

So fun to hear from you on this!!
Yes, I know! The kids are so fun!
Hmmm, I might add more to the “knowing look” lol.
Well, with this I wanted each one of them to say a prayer. With big things in our family we normally all go around and say a prayer. Sometimes though, just one family remember prays. It really all depends on…[Read more]

Yeah, it is a rough life. I feel like a lot of people will read about Leon and Julian and be like, “oh cool, the messenger missionaries on the run from soldiers” and not really think about what that would be like for NINE YEARS.
I chuckled at this.
so did I. lol.
Ew. Yeah, eat the bread instead.

Oh my goodness. I can’t believe you just handed a kid to Rory. *silently dies* this is going to be great!
He needs something to fight for beyond his own survival.
Ummm….. whatever you would rather. i don’t care. Leo is leading which means you’re picking.

Ooo, that would be a cool idea.
I had the pro version for a little while as well, but I think both work fine.
I like the look of hand-drawn ones the best, but the ones on there are easier to make and have on hand as I’m writing.

Have you tried using Inkarnet?
I really enjoy using them for my maps after I do the initial sketches.

The next morning, Julian and Leon left to start another journey. They wouldn’t be returning to the capital, so Joseph sent no return letter to Sabina.
Joseph walked with the two former soldiers outside the gates of the town. It was good to be with old friends.…

(lol. I have no idea where we’re going and so I didn’t know what else to RP. We can lose him as soon as you like.)
Rory
On Zero Rory, Leo, and Silvia all hesitated a step, throwing the rhythm off just barely. For a flash of a second Rory heard two steps. Then, the sound was gone, masked once more in the rhythm of their own…[Read more]

Honestly, That’s what I was about to write, (except I didn’t think of the sack part, I just thought of dragging a heavy object.)
But yeah, that’s what I would do.

(5 more minutes, and then we stop!)
SUCH A GOOD MOVIE!
Of course there’s the whole storks delver babies theory which isn’t true, (but I don’t know any people who still believe that)
but there are so many subtle things that are so, so good!
And the humor is chef’s kiss!
Okay, glad the scene works.…[Read more]

I think I may struggle with this partially be because my Dad and I are not very emotional and struggle with being sincere, and sometimes can seem stiff. My interactions with him naturally are what I refer to for these scenes, so Alan and Charles have picked it up.
.Ah, I see. I have a very close relationship with my Dad, so I…[Read more]

ah yes. Eric is very proud of himself.
good. Good! I’m so glad this scene works well! “touch down Tulip!!” (Storks if you haven’t scene the movie that quite come from)
I’m surprised there was no comment on the Julian/Joseph conversation.
was it good? Does it fit? -

that’s what (frustratingly) keeps me from being able to say this scene doesn’t work.
I don’t like you at all.
yes! Yes it does make sense, and I hate that I’m saying it, but it fits.
I doubly don’t like you.
I also agree that the interactions seem very stiff or formal, but I wasn’t sure if that’s what you’re going for.
