@jane-maree My recommendation would be to figure out what chain of events will lead the protagonist from the inciting event to the first plot point, and then use those to structure that area. Me too, @jane-maree ! There are a wealth of unique and awesome names (and very nice ordinary names too) in movie credits. (Names I didn’t even know existed!) Tons of inspiration there. 🙂

@jane-maree There’s a lot of stuff to sift through there since it’s more of a story summary than a series of plot-points, but it sounds like you have the basic elements down. I would narrow the 3rd plot point down a bit more to that specific scene where Will runs, though, rather than the whole narrative.

@jane-maree yay! Somebody else has a secret agent in their story!!! Yipee!!! I was kind of skeptical about my agent, because the only stories I’ve ever read with a secret agent in them were kind of cheesy with so many stock characters, and I didn’t want that to happen to my story. It’s encouraging to know that it can be done. Thanks!

@jane-maree what is the situation your characters are in so that they speak several languages? Do you know any French?
