@josiahdeboer We’re borrowing from the classical tradition of jester that writers like Shakespeare popularized, where the fool is also ironically one of the wisest people in the room (see: the Fool in King Lear). 😉 Sanderson draws on this tradition as well w/Hoid in the Stormlight Archive if you’ve read those.

@that_writer_girl_99 Well, I tried to pull a harmless prank on my mom, but it ended up stranding her in a hot car. :/ So, I’m kind of trying not to cause any more accidents. I’m just writing, what could possibly go wrong? 😉 Collage sounds haaaard.

@that_writer_girl_99 Ooh nice! You’ll have to let me know how Creative Writing goes, because I might major or minor in that. I’m not sure just yet.
And I’m signing out now. I wrote 500 exactly. 😀 Good luck with college!

@emily-d My favorite Britt Nicole songs are Sunshine Girl, Headphones, Ready or Not, Gold, and Girls Night Out. There’s a new song by Mandisa you might like called “What You’re Worth” and Britt Nicole guest sings. My favorite Newsboys songs are That’s How You Change the World, Crazy, Man on Fire, and Restart.

Ha, thanks. *brushes confetti off her laptop* College work so far has been kinda intense. My classes require a lot of studying and extra time–time I’ve previously spent writing–so my creative ways have taken a hit. I’m tired. But it’ll be good in the end.
Gosh, you’re like the third person to tell me to read up on everyone else’s bios. Guess I…[Read more]

@reaganramm So, how does Scrivener work? I’ve heard a few things about it…do you think it’s better or worse that Microsoft Word?
@kate-flournoy My favorites…probably Audiomachine, Brunuhville and Keith Merrill. You?

@that_writer_girl_99 School? Moral support?
Here! Confetti! You got this! 😀 How’s college?
My bio? Well, it wasn’t easy, that’s for sure. Basically, I just read everyone else’s bios to get a skeleton of what a bio basically looked like–it’s short, that’s for sure–and filled in the blanks for myself. Start out with my name, my beginning of…[Read more]

Well, I’m here, but I’m working on school, so…some moral support would be nice. @dragon-snapper
When I get a chance, I need to come up with a bio for…something. You’ve published stuff on here, Snapper, how did you come up with your bio?
