@That_Writer_Girl_99 yep! Though if you could share the link again… my computer crashed and I lost it. 🙁

@kate-flournoy I can’t even remember what I came up with… I think it was for my name, not for my site. And no, it didn’t work. XD
But monograms are pretty cool. I love that, @dragon-snapper. 🙂

(Pretty wicked design skills there, by the way, Snapper. Do you have any experience with graphic design?)

@Dragon-Snapper yes, I love that! It’s called a monogram. We haven’t discussed that, have we @Hope? Or at least the one you came up with didn’t… er… work. 😛

@Hope nope, why should I elaborate? It wasn’t my idea. *cheeky grin* XD
*coughs* Writing in the Light, for those of the curious, is a very difficult thing to put a unique logo to. Aside from light rays and candles and lanterns and other such highly cool, highly overused symbols. Therein, apparently, lies its difficulty and unsuitableness.
Kate out.

@Mark-Kamibaya yes. Most people do use it as a classification system, which bothers me to no end. If you dig down deep and really get to understand the process though, you’ll see the sixteen types are really only a general summary of probabilities built on the common tendencies/stereotypes of the different functions. (Not cognitive functions;…[Read more]

@kina-lamb LightWrighter sounds cool too. The main problem being that Lightwriter is a thing and that might get confusing. 🙁

@Northerner, @jess Right… it’s been a bit since I read the books. XD My brain isn’t working with names right now.

Hope Ann replied to the topic Hey, interesting internet strangers in the forum Start HERE 7 years, 4 months ago
@Northerner *grins* I can live with that. They care too much, I think. Duty on one side, friends on the other… *sniffs* my poor boy. He so doesn’t deserve it. But the theme and character arc demand it.

@emma-flournoy Yes, but your sister is on my side, so there. XD I do still like Writing in the Light, and will keep my blog named that or will rework it into a tagline. But Inkfeather sounds… cooler. More official.
@Northerner Never heard of Iggyfeather. I think there are enough ink and feather things that the name doesn’t take anything from…[Read more]

@Daeus riiiiiight. *rolls eyes*
Good job sir. *high fives* You’ve no excuse coming to me now with questions. XD
Just kidding.
Kates likes to be asked questions almost as much as Daeuses likes to steal.@Jane-Maree good for you. 😀 ENFPs are fun.

@Devastate-Lasting Welcome to the most wonderful Christian forum ever. Or rather, the most wonderful forum ever. 😀 I’m an INTJ, but I have several INFJ characters. Well… at least one MC who I am in the middle of tormenting. *grins* Sorry…
35 books… and I’m hesitant to start my seven book series. I have over a dozen books planned, but not…[Read more]

@Jess Yes, and there is Wingfeather. But I think it is far from both Wingfeather and Inkheart to work. And it actually clicks, unlike most of the other names I’ve been trying. 😉

Hope Ann replied to the topic Why does everyone keep stealing my names??? in the forum Publishing & Platform 7 years, 4 months ago
Soo… I think I actually might have found one I like, thanks to my eleven-year-old brother. Inkfeather Publishing. What do you all think? @jess, @daeus, @mariposa, @northerner I know feather is used in some other names but there are only so many names and it is very ‘logogenic’. XD
-
Hope Ann replied to the topic Why does everyone keep stealing my names??? in the forum Publishing & Platform 7 years, 4 months ago
@jess So my point is proven. XD *sighs* Hmmm… a feather looks cool. Feathers or wings. I’m thinking logos here.
Ugggg, Kate’s going to hate me if I’ve gone to all this trouble and then stick with Writing in the Light. *glances warily to the side*

Hope Ann replied to the topic Why does everyone keep stealing my names??? in the forum Publishing & Platform 7 years, 4 months ago
@mariposa Hmmmm… Writing for the Light? No. That’s just as long. Writing With Light Publishing. That’s a little shorter…
