Hey, who says you can’t be willing to die for frozen raspberries @Daeus!?!? Why else do you think they say ‘to die for’?

Sticky Notes.
Notes of Harmony
Whole Notes
Notes from a Composer
(So those above involve music. I’ll see if I can think of some different ones later) 😀 -

I fake a laugh. This guy is really getting on my nerves. “Yep, that’s what it is alright.”
He ducks back through the door and a moment later it expands into normal height.
“Voila!” I see him through the doorway with his hands raised triumphantly.
“H-how did you…the door…it just…”
He shrugs. “No biggie. Actually it’s pretty easy to use magic…[Read more] -

No. Re-phrase it should be nearly 8pm not 7pm.

@daeus It’s tomorrow. 😀 No, it really is. Even though the time has flown by, it is definitely tomorrow. Plus we have just end day light savings. (Or started. I’m not sure which one.) So when I post this it should be nearly 7pm over there.

Hm, yes @spradlin… though that might more denote (get it? Denote? *sigh* Okay, that was really bad) a… community for sharing noteworthy thoughts than a blog of just one person’s noteworthy thoughts.
I don’t know… thoughts?
Yes. I did just use ‘thoughts’ way too many times in one paragraph.

Ah— gotcha @Daeus. Thanks so much.
Yes, I know what you mean… it’s funny, but I’ve tried over and over and over to poeticize (like my made up word? 😛 ) about an object, but for some reason I can only do it about really deep thoughts. Concepts, if you will. Like with this one, I wanted to take the word ‘love’, which is so commonly misused…[Read more]

Eh… that might be a bit of a reach. 😉
Let’s see. *waits for bolts of inspiration from the blue*
*still waits for bolts of inspiration from the blue*
*continues to wait for bolts of inspiration from the blue*
*concludes that there is no such thing as a bolt from the blue, and as for inspiration, it is a fallacious fairytale our teachers…[Read more]

We were posting at the same time @spradlin! 😀
Thanks for the pointers— I can see how that would be a problem, definitely. Would it work, do you think, to cut each line in half, where most of them have a slant rhyme with the middle of the prior line?

Couple questions, Daeus… ‘toil’ is a one syllable word. ???
Also, I’m not quite sure what you meant about replacing ‘cruel’ with ‘and’… I can’t seem to grasp what specific changes you were getting at.
And… oh yeah. Oops. He did lose his shield, didn’t he? *gulp* Man, that’s embarrassing. 😛

Wow, @kate-flournoy! I don’t normally like poetry that much, but believe me, you have a masterpiece here. 😉 I really enjoyed reading it!

Okay @Daeus, @hope, @anyone-else-who-liked this, I’ve been working over it, and I think I’ve got it finished. I want to publish it with KP, but I want to know what you guys think of it first. Without further ado, here it is in it’s entirety.

Alright, this is aim mainly at men, due to the fact that the letter is by a guy, but if anyone has some helpful feedback I would appreciate it. Let me explain:
You teased a girl at school and got her into trouble all the time. On a wet day you run after her, and slip on the pavement. You crash into and she falls onto the road and is hit by a car.…[Read more]

Awesome quote, Tessa! Helen Keller was an absolutely amazing person. 🙂
Thanks Greta. Yes, I absolutely agree with you. She was extremely amazing. I sometimes wonder if I would have been able to copy with it all.
That is so powerful!
Thank Ingrid. It’s great encouragement to me.
