@alia I agree with Rochellaine, I think it could be hidden in a hill, or a riverbank or something like that. I’ve always wanted a house like the one that the Ingalls lived in, in I think, On the Banks of Plum Creek?

@alia I would picture it sort of like the sod shanties or dugouts from Little House on the Prairie.  Those are like cottages, but they are a bit disguised.

Or if there are big trees, inside of a tree with a staircase down. (Like in the Princess Bride. But maybe not a button. Instead it could have a branch you pull to open the door.)

Well, I don’t usually like bad boys, so I don’t write them very much, but they’re coming more and more popular in contemporary fiction. I’m a solid believer in the good men, who aren’t boring. Hopefully. (Quiiiilllloon).

Well, I guess Dorian Grey started off as a bad boy and ended up as a villain. Byronic Hero is the “technical” term, seeing as Lord Byron wrote a lot of them.

@rochellaine I know what you mean, if that helps any.  I think of the term bad boy almost like the word naughty though, not as strong as you are using it.
