@alia All the time. Most certain characters have a coherent wardrobe, style wise. But sometimes, especially if they have a very bubbly or diva-like personality, their wardrobe can always be different. I stick to the same color palette most of the time. Blondes tend to wear light blues. Girls with dark hair but colored eyes match their clothes to…[Read more]

@daeus I’m glad you think so! Either way, if you got a good laugh from the picture, I was worth it. 😀

Well, after that semi-creepy thing, I feel as if I need to redeem myself.
This is Crispa, a character belonging to @spradlin(fingers crossed, I hope the picture works this time)
And this is Beck, @christi-eaton ‘s alter ego, of whom I have a great many variations.

@daeus it’s safe to say that the drawing I did of your Teedletiden turned out to be a failure considering I’ve spent the past fifteen minutes trying to stop laughing in order to take a picture.
I have been informed the picture isn’t showing up so I’m trying to figure it out now -

@kate-flournoy Exactly! And also writers who need the inspiration, too. Just something to help visualize.
@daeus They sound like they could be feisty. Almost like squirrels, I’m going to give it a shot and show you the results asap 😛

Hello, everybody! I love this little forum section because I love art. More specifically I am an artist who loves drawing and painting portraits and people. At the moment, however, I’m running a little low on ideas. That is why my brain spontaneously came up with this notion.
This little Topic page is open for anybody who needs a bit of…[Read more] -

@winter-rose I have a way of putting forums to sleep, sorry. That was from Singing in the Rain.
Here goes something more recent, I think.

I’m so pleased to see that there are Rhett and Link fans here. And Lost was okay but it went way downhill after season three.
Back to analysis! @daeus My opinion is that simple is good. Very good. But if you go too far, it can look like a cardboard cutout. Not that it’s bad, but it doesn’t work well for everything. Also, I think the romance…[Read more]

Aesthetically, I think it works well. I appreciate the opacity as it is. If it were more faded, it may be a distraction because the viewer would have to look closely at it to figure out what it is, and any less fade would be an eyesore.

Even though the girl in the background might be too old, I do think that a faded image looks really good just to balance it out. I think if I had a criticism, it’s a little difficult to tell the difference between the commas and periods, but maybe it’s because I’m on my phone 😛

@daeus @kate-flournoy I think they’re just called comic books. Or graphic novels. Some of my favorite graphic novels are actually by Sparknote’s No Fear Shakespeare series. The Hamlet is hands down one of my favorites, I’m a sucker for Shakespeare. @sarah-h I don’t really know. When I think of illustrated chapter books, I think of The Mysterious…[Read more]

Hello, wonderful, wide world of KP!
I’m actually not sure if someone has already done a topic concerning this before or not, but it seems that the Art forum decided to fade away a little while ago, so I might as well ask: Do you prefer to have illustrations in the books you are reading? On one side, I’ve heard that people like illustrations (I…[Read more]
