Klethen — Elderstrand (w/ Ilahna, Everett, and Rina)
The creatures stepped forward, reduced, in the darkness, to ominous silhouettes. Klethen kept his eyes fixed on the weapon of the foremost one.
“I don’t even have a sword.” He said aloud. Not that it would have made any difference if he had – any armor worth having would have been made out of greensteel.
A quick flash of light, accompanied by a voice. “Alright, people, let’s get out of here!” It said. Klethen tore his eyes away for a short moment to see a ring of blue surrounding a portal, which was somehow suspended in the air, and a figure standing next to it.
A moment was all it took for the creature to attack. Klethen looked back in time to throw himself out of the way of its blade. His feet skidded on the wet stones. The creature came towards him and Klethen moved back, careful to stay out of range of its sword. He wanted to look to see if the others had gotten away but he was afraid to spare another look away from his enemy.
