Oh cool I love that youtuber! I just recently subscribed to him. Haven’t watched any of his tutorials yet though. I will check them out 🙃

@keilah-h @loopylin

Aw, thanks guys!!

As for the renderinggg, its definitely an improvement from a LOT of my works. Like I mentioned I’ve been watching a lot of tutorials and studying my favorite artists styles to gauge their techniques and its helped so much. One guy I love a lot has youtube tutorials and art content thats super fun and…[Read more]

Hey what if the sun never actually sets here, but sometimes the fog/clouds thicken so much in an area that it looks like night? Just an idea idk if that contradicts anything we already wrote

@whalekeeper Idk how the sun works, but here’s what I started writing yesterday

Mel

The sun was starting to set, but Mel didn’t want the day to be over yet. She had slept a while in the sunshine by the pond, and she still felt plenty rested. The shadows stretched across the grassy clearing, reaching for the two girls.

Mel still watched the sky.…[Read more]

like the lake is THAT big, or whatever “planet” surface they’re on has an unusual day-night cycle, probably both.

Forgive me for trying to science the magic lol. it’s fun to do that.

@whalekeeper I think they’re just in different time zones tbh….lol

@rae

Sniper

“We can’t see far right now, making searching basically worthless. So we stay the night, but we should set up watches.” Gabriel told us.

I nodded. “Good idea.”

I made a mental note of the time since the sun went down. This planet’s time was a lot different than mine’s, but if it rotated like a normal world its day and its night wou…[Read more]

That looks so good! How do you do rendering so well?

@whalekeeper IDK, she probably comes to just check up on us lol

@whalekeeper didn’t she leave and is only able to pop in once or twice a year?

@princesachronicle22 mannnnnn that looks AMAZING.

No idea why it repeated that T-T

Guess I’m more rusty than I thought…

@loopylin

Oh noooo, I was afraid of that. I think the art topic just has something against me…

Time to try again though!

Okay trial and error revealed some pics work and others don’t, I think this one was just too big originally? But Screenshotting worked! Let me know if you guys can actually see it this time.

@rae awwww cutie

Huntress

“I wish I had siblings. I wish I had more friends I could trust. Instead everyday I would go out and sacrifice sleep and health to protect people who would kill me if they saw my Devil Marks.” Gabriel sounded tired.  “Sometimes I don’t even know why I do it anymore. With Lucy, I have more than thrill to keep me going…[Read more]

Mel

“Cool,” Mel said, still in a low whisper. “I wanna ride one.”

@whalekeeper

Mel

Mel nodded slowly. She reached for her tea and gulped down the rest of it. It was sweet, but still not warm. She was getting full, so, copying what she had seen earlier, she began wrapping up her favorite treats into napkins and putting them in her pockets.

A large shadow passed over the tree stump table and across the…[Read more]

@everyone

SUCH LOVELY ART GUYS!!! @rae I LOVE the Baron sketch and the art contest one you did, and markers are a hard media, but you use them very well!!

I’ve been getting a lot more into digital and watching tutorials and this is a newer one I made of an older OC named Inez!

@whalekeeper

Yeah I think I’m going to stick with her being 7

Melissa

Mel studied Lucy from behind her folded arms, feeling both happy that her friend understood, and frustrated that no one else did. She took a deep breath and inspected one of her dirty hands. “Maybe… maybe we’re the kids who can turn into animals. It’s not bad if we can’t…[Read more]
