My email notifications show up in junk/spam. @winter-rose I don’t have the same issues that @ethryndal and @graciegirl do, but I was confused at first as to where my KP notifications were going…that’s when I checked the junk folder.

Hey, I’ve been having the same problem, and I think @Graciegirl has too. For me, it was only her tags that didn’t show up, but of late, it’s been happening when other people tag me too.

@graciegirl Glad I could help. Villains can be so much fun, once they fall in place.

@graciegirl One thing to remember is that characters (and people) aren’t always logical. From an outside perspective, one can stand back and shake their head at a character and wonder what they are thinking and why they don’t just get it. But inside the character’s head is another matter. Emotions and beliefs twist together and they will sometimes…[Read more]

@Northerner Yes, Humperdinck and Vizzini are both amazing. And extremely quotable. (We do the ‘it’s possible, pig’ (though that’s Westley I guess. To Humperdinck. No matter.) so often in this house when someone asks a question. It pops up everywhere.)
And WOLFGANG YES! I didn’t know you’d read that. @GracieGirl it’s @Writefury‘s serial story on…[Read more] -

@GracieGirl, Wingfeather Saga. Really good villain with really good motivations, and really good death scene.
Also in the Wingfeather Saga, a really really really good disguised villain. You love him up until he’s revealed and then you want to kill him in horrible ways for all the evil he’s done while making people think he’s good. Oof. Traitors.…[Read more] -

@Graciegirl *cackles until something gets stuck in her throat* Ahem. Yes. They’re fun. I love being shocked out of my seat. But I absolutely hate it when authors make you love a character, and THEN he turns out to be the villain, so I think there’s a very tiny (and complicated) space of grey that these types of villains must fit into; they can’t…[Read more]

I do that sometimes. Poetry forces your brain to think in different directions. It can be fun.
I write fanfiction to give myself a break, though. @graciegirl

@GracieGirl dah! I missed this and now everyone’s said everything! *heartbroken sobbing*
Well… a few villains to add to the list… (Besides Kylo Ren. Don’t start me. Really).
Chauvelin, from The Scarlet Pimpernel. Totally evil, but somehow very human, and you gotta admire his dedication even if you hate his cause. He keeps trying even though…[Read more] - Load More
