@dragon-snapper – 3 years is great!! Fingerstyle is awesome. I don’t really read music, I can read tablature a little better, but mostly I just learn from someone showing me what to do on YouTube, then I commit it to memory 🙂 (Yeah…no rock for me either ;))

@jess-penrose – I agree! Acoustic is just lovely. Haha! It’s okay, I tend to ask a lot of questions 😉 All of the music types you like sound wonderful!
I’ve never heard of Idea of the North. I will have to check them out!

@That_Writer_Girl_99 don’t worry. XD I forgot that it wasn’t a normal term. You might call it a barn dance? *shrugs uncertainly*

@LifeOfKatie heyyyyyy!! Welcome! I also had no idea you wrote, and which is just unpardonable of me as a six year friend, isn’t it? 😛 Glad to see you on KP. 😉 Lots of encouragement and stuff here.

@lifeofkatie 7 years! Nice! I’ve only been playing for 3ish, but I love it so much. I’ve been playing with my teen band for church, and just started picking up lessons again.
Fingerstyle is so beautiful. It’s so fun to play it. Do you read tablature or do you read music for the guitar? I especially enjoy just messing around on the guitar and…[Read more] -

@jess-penrose Yes. Virtual chairs and phones. They’re even more valuable than the real ones. 😛
Oh dear…you lost me at the first question.
Who’s Glaurung, may I ask? It’s cool that you taught yourself elvish. I can write in ancient dwarvish.

so I’m living a cliche I guess
*flashback to the Legend of King Daeus.
Why was it that there was always some sort of hidden force that held people’s hands back from knocking? Her fist was stuck midair, and she thought back to every book she had read before. Great. Now she was living a cliché.

Yes for INFPs!
Wait. Are you for real? We’re a stereotype? There’s nothing stereotypical about writing fiction… @kate-flournoy

@Jess-Penrose DID SOMEONE SAY MBTI. 😮 XD
AHEM. Yes. Well… in summary, I love Myers Briggs because I think people are downright fascinating and I love the insight it gives you into people’s minds. I love it just for that, but it’s also really helpful with characterization if you understand it properly. And hey! I’m an INFP as well. *grins*…[Read more] -

I haven’t written a song in a few years, but there’s a few things I can tell you.
First–don’t rush it. Maybe you’re one of those people that can just sit down with an idea and write it out, but maybe not. Sit back, pray, and focus on what draws you to the subject on hand.
That brings me to my next point. If it’s a Christian song, which it…[Read more]

@jess-penrose – 😀 Blue’s the best! Thank you!! I prefer acoustic style (I really like songs that heave less instruments so you can really hear all of the notes on either the guitar or piano…whatever the main instrument is) or a cappella – 🙂 What’s your favorite style?
@dragon-snapper – Wow! I love all of the instruments that you play! That’s…[Read more]
