@skredder That makes sense. It’s a snippet of the full-length arc. A teaser to the full-length story. Okay. *nods* That gives me a new perspective on this. Very helpful! Thank you.
@mariposa I really like the idea of doing the same kind of arc on a smaller level. It gives a hint of the overall story, but it’s not as huge or a really big…[Read more]

@skredder @valtmy @gh24682468999 These are all super great ideas, thank you all so much. Just one thing, @gh24682468999 What is Grammaly? I, in all my years of searching the internet, have never heard of it.

@gh24682468999 Aww, thank you SO much for the sweet compliments! I always love my writing projects, but feel pretty shy about sharing them, because, as I’m sure you can understand, I feel pretty sure they’re probably not really all that great. So… your comments were more than a little encouraging! No worries about the long post. I really…[Read more]

Thanks @gh24682468999 (By the way, your signature is super helpful! your tag confuses me :D) I think the Silmarillion is mainly about the elves isn’t it? it does sound hard, I tried to read it a few years ago and gave up, but I think it’s the kind of thing I’d enjoy once I got a few chapters into it!

@rochellaine @gh24682468999@seekjustice @alia @dekreel Don’t feel like you have to or anything, but if any of you guys were wanting to proof my script, I’d appreciate if you could get it done this week, or early next week… Thanks for the tips @gh24682468999 🙂

I love all of your quotes!❤👍
@mariposa I like Charles Spurgeon too. Have you read his morning and evening devotional book?

@gh24682468999 No idea. 🙂 Good quote, though.
@ingridrd Oh, I LOVE the Julie Wright quote! Most people think this is weird, but my form of optimism is often not “Things could be worse,” but “Now that I’ve experienced this horrible thing, I can write about it more correctly.” 😀

Simply wonderful, @gh24682468999! As a former MK, this all makes total sense, and is precisely what I went through. Learning to accept and move forward, to see the bright side, to trust that God really does do all things for the good of those that love Him, is extremely difficult, but not impossible. With God, ALL things are possible. You covered…[Read more]

Great job on this! As a missionary kid, this hits very close to home. Ouch, but I needed it 😛 So thank you. I saw myself in Caitlyn, and definitely understand her situation, missing friends and trying not to make new ones just to get hurt all over again. And the emotions coming even when she could get Megan’s email address e…[Read more]

I thought this was really well written. You conveyed realistic and captivating emotion. I think that really helped to drive the story.
You don’t have to answer this but is this based off a similar experience of yours?

@gh24682468999 I’m no MK, but that was wonderful! you were able to eloquently express emotion without being like “she was very, very, overwhelmingly sad and it made her sad”. Good Job!
I think it’s cool how you did it in third person, I kinda expected it to be in first person so it was nice to see something so emotional in third. I also like…[Read more]
