*GASPETH*
YES I want to see aesthetics!? I would totally read this book, or books, or whatever. It sounds absolutely lovely.
*deep breath*
*marginally calms down*
How long have you been working on it/has it been a thing? Even a vague figment of a dream?

Oops, sorry. I was waiting for class to start and in a hurry, so I wasn’t thinking through my writing.
What I meant was, do your characters need to make the right choice? Or should they mess up a couple times, possibly showing that God can work through even our mistakes, and working on character flaws. Although, you did already…[Read more]

Hmm.
Could you use this to portray a character flaw? Idk exactly what you have in mine for flaws though.
Hmmmmm…

@anyone what classes do you want to do?
Barnes is overseeing some literature-related class, so there’s that

It’s very funny…. but as I work through my WWII set, I’ve just had an amazing idea for a fantasy. I wonder it WWII triggers fantasy ideas…….. lolololol.
*Meanwhile I sit here with a WWII era inspired fantasy, watching you talk* 😁

Heeyy Sara, I’m about a third through your story right now! What kind of critique do you want? Any specific concerns, stuff like that?

XD I have to read Alcatraz. Also, I can’t believe Leo has been compared to Mando as well. (Actually I can now that I think about it, because of the helmet.)
I have watched some of it! I loved the world build and the characters!
Yayy
Yes, unfortunately… I do have a phone 🙁
Nayy…?

Okay, here’s a few. I was also told that Zlatin Vratisin is a lot like somebody named Balian…except that I was also told not to watch that movie… *is concerned for my character*

Lucky Barnes, your author lets you have good things. Sniper’s parents will be dead halfway through the storyline and he’s still a bit messed up from it afterward. And it’s not even my fault.
Lucky in some ways, unlucky in others. XD I decided over the past year or so that I don’t like writing characters with just trauma+healing as thei…[Read more]

Leo
He bit back a grin. “Like they always say, it’s not save to jump out of a moving vehicle.”
The lorry door whooshed open. Silvia led the group aboard, waving their bus card under a the scanner. Leo helped Rory up the steps as inconspicuously as possible. The lorry was mostly empty this early in the morning. Their few…[Read more]

Silvia
Spangled darkness in a thousand colors. Gleaming nebula. White dwarfs.
Silvia blinked away the swirling images. Another time maybe. She’d fly again. She shrugged.
“Just wondering. Not many people around here have.”
She turned her head, catching the distant rattling of the bus coming up the street. A sigh brushed past…[Read more]

Wow. I love the personality of each character (especially the girl hanging off the banister). And the texture on the leaves is gorgeous.
*continues to stare at picture wondering what the characters are like*

Barnes and Sniper would have a good conversation about their parents being annoying over the phone lollllll
My grandma will call or text at the randomest times, and I always get surprised because I’m in the middle of something. :p
They both should be happy though. At least they have parents who care about them.
Yup, even if the…[Read more]

Leo
Listening to Rory’s pain filled breathing made Leo’s own throat ache. He shifted to take more of the kid’s weight.
Then they were on the pavement outside the apartment complex. Another five halting steps deposited them on the bench at the bus stop. Leo let out a gust of air.
“Sorry kid. You probably shouldn’t be out of bed…[Read more]
