@christi-eaton Wow! Thanks so much. Contemporary Christian music normally annoys me because it seems to manipulate emotions rather than inspire them, but this band plays legitimately good music and I absolutely agree that their lyrics are pure poetry (as lyrics should be!).

I love Mr. Smith goes to Washington too, @emma-flournoy. Then there is the Princess Bride. And I love Pixar’s A Bug’s Life. I love most of Pixar’s movies, except Brave and then The Good Dinosaur. That one was just weird. I also really like Epic…the movie with the little forest people and such. Has anyone seen that? So cute.

Favorite movie? Good grief, that’s a tough one… Probably Dead Poet’s Society. It has some cruder elements to it, but the overarching theme of the mentor and coming of age is fantastic. @Daeus that’s great. I got 651 words— not stunning, but not too bad either. Besides I’m working on a scene I really like, so I’m having fun at the same time. 😉 More fun than usual, that is. Funny how some scenes are like that.

Ok, I’m stopping just a tad early here because I edited a chapter, then read back through it to make sure it sounded right and I don’t feel like going into the next one for just five minutes. Much thanks to you both. This was a productive night.

I could never choose out of these four which was my favorite. 🙂
The Inheritance (Family Films version) It’s a Louisa May Alcott story. I am inclined to like this much better than Little Women. It’s a contrast between two female characters one who’s out to get all she can from life and one who wants to give all she is through life.

Oh dear… okay… hm. I really like It’s a Wonderful Life. For flat-out timeless, that’s probably on the top of my list. There are others I really love, but that one never gets old.
