@jenwriter17  Unfortunately, I am not a movie writer either.  But I’m sure one of the lovely people you tagged can be of some assistance.  🙂

@jenwriter17  Awww…thanks!  🙂 🙂

@aislinn-mollisong Yes, I once wrote a scene where my MC was taught to use a sword. There are of course many different approaches to teaching someone sword fighting, mainly depending on how much time is available. Generally, you’re taught footwork first, then sword drills are added on. A sword drill is a single maneuver practiced over and over.

Hahaha!

Hi, @dekreel

We can definitely relate!

Haley and I shot a video that hopefully should provide some encouragement, and help you finally kick that comparitis and self-doubt to the curb!

How to stop doubting your ability to write, and finally stop comparing yourself to other writers.

@ariella-newheart  Why, thank you, ma’am.  🙂

@aislinn-mollisong  *bows*

@Dekreel basically what has already been said. I struggle with this too. Especially recently. I found an author whose skill in my chosen genre is so crazily far beyond my own I don’t dare dream I’ll ever reach it.

And much as I hate to admit this, that thought drives me absolutely bonkers.

@aislinn-mollisong  Well, here’s Amber.  😉

Oh whoops I didn’t see that @dekreel was already going to…*shrugs*  Can I draw her anyway?

@aislinn-mollisong  *facedesk*

@aislinn-millisong  I will do her!

@sage-g  *gasps*  You are really talented.  She looks great!!!!! 🙂  And thank you.

@dekreel This topic is two years old, back when Sarah was still with us.

@supermonkey42 Can’t remember exactly. It was either lack of involvement or I didn’t have enough time.

Oh, one more question. Do you prefer the ending lines:

“Awestruck to see that in dark the lights dance”

or

“Awestruck to see that in night the lights dance”

???

Thanks everyone! @emma-flournoy @ariella-newheart @rochellaine

I think I’ve got it now. I’ll come back to this a few months from now to see if I can make any small improvements, but I think it’s generally solid. 😀

@skredder  Hopefully her hair is how you imagined it…and I wasn’t sure about her eyes so I just did brown.  🙂

And closer…
