@perfectfifths I think that’s a great example here of a negative arc and how catharsis works in it! Because Wormwood doesn’t seem to get worse over the course of the story, it’s probably a combination of a flat and a negative arc for him.

@Dragon-Snapper uhhh… hm. Is… would it be possible to simply skip the titles altogether and simply let it be implied in their relationship? Or is it too much of a systemic thing?

When it comes to things like this, I think that you just need to do what your heart says is right. The Holy Spirit will guide you. Just trust in him.

I would think that a false is probably okay, but I’m not totally sure about that.
