Oops… apparently the examples I gave got incorporated into the back-text of the post and didn’t show up. Sorry! 😛 The computer thought I was clicking the button, not giving an example of what the button would say! 😀

And when you hit those buttons, Sarah, assuming you are talking about this site, you will get little abbreviated marks encasing the lump of text you want— — so. And — like that.
Remember to click the button again after you’re done italicizing or making bold whatever you were italicizing or making bold, also. I don’t always remember that! 😛

Arianwen: *blinks in startled astonishment* “Tell you who you are?” *shakes head doubtfully* “I am no good with riddles. But some skill I do have in reading the faces of men—” *ascends steps of mansion, stops before Count and gazes with narrowed eyes into his face* “You are… innocence. Innocence I see in you— or rather innocence that was:…[Read more]

Count: “Believe everything on this island. Everything happens. When I was yet Edmond, I was told by my mentor that I should never fully succeed until learned who I was and found what truth could be gleaned from my story. I need you to tell me who I am.”

I assume you mean on this site. It is very simple. All you do is select the text you want to emphasize and click the b button or the i button in that row of buttons directly above where you type your text for a comment. Link and b-quote are pretty self explanatory. I don’t know what the others do actually.
Incase you mean in a word processing…[Read more]

Count: “You need not worry about that battle Anna. Time is stopped on this island. It is only a question of if you will get back at all. It would be very convenient for you to be conducted through the safest routes to the top of the mountain. You may imagine my dismay when I discovered that there was one thing I yet lacked:…[Read more]

Arianwen: *turns a little white, but narrows eyes and lifts chin a trifle defiantly* “Indeed? Since you seem so well acquainted with this island and with our party, Count, I cannot but assume you have some purpose in… summoning us here, if indeed you did summon us. Or is this merely some… some… twisted and unwholesome game at which you play…[Read more]

Count: *Staring deeply into her eyes* “I am informed of all thing that happen on this island – and much beyond it. You doubt me though. Listen then, since you have landed on this island, you have been attacked once by a monster and again by a serpent. You have been led by a treacherous guide. You have been scorched by a water which did not steam…[Read more]

From mansion: Out walks a grave, pale, immaculate, stunning stunning gentleman, with a countenance which cannot easily be read but makes one’s heart race in an indescribable manner. He and servant talk for a few moments and then he comes over to characters and addresses them.
Count: “Good morning travelers, I have been expecting you.”

(B-b-but-but-but I didn’t bring any poison!)
Arianwen: *sweeps suddenly past other characters and faces servant coolly* “Tell your master, whatever his name may be, that we desire speech with him.”
*servant bows* “But mademoiselle, the Count is not expecting anyone until ten o’ clock, when he dines with Monsieur Albert de Morcerf and Franz…[Read more] -

Oh good! I’m glad to hear it was well done. Something like that done ill would be very destructive. I applaud anyone who can tackle such a job and come out on top. 😛

Don’t worry— it doesn’t really hurt Harold. He’s gotten used to it.
And used to being called that. 😉
And I’m glad you like it— I actually went to a fair bit of trouble to come up with a dramatic nickname for him that didn’t sound… well… comic-bookish. 😛

I like the name Flamehand – for him at least. There are obvious reasons why I don’t want to be called that. Ouch!

Thank you @writefury! I did sort of do that on purpose— Dallan can’t resist rubbing Harold’s nickname in his face every chance he gets, but maybe I should have made that more obvious or taken it out altogether. 😛
