Oh boy, I love names. At least when you do them right.
Some of my favorites are actually my french characters. I have three I really like:
Piercot Archambault (the name just fits him like a glove)
Pierre La Sanglante
RameauxOf course, I love my MC’s name, Edwin Brook.
Of my other english names, I especially like:
Extor
Percy Fletcher

That would be great about the guy being part of the gang, @Joy-Schmidt! I would totally read that.

Everything that came to mind:
She was confused for someone else (my only good idea)
A mad scientist wants her for an experiment
Kidnaped by a rapist (there goes all your readers)
The kidnapper was insane and just did random things like that for not apparent reason
She was kidnapped by the super slimy salad monster who ONLY eats little…[Read more] -

Well there are several options here, and some of them may not apply, but a few things that came immediately to mind are:
(1) To hold her hostage— I am assuming the older sister is in some way important, so they might want to manipulate her into doing something for them by holding her little sister against her.
(2) Are they a thief organization?…[Read more] -

Haha that’s funny, I had a villain named Mr. Burton too! He was a land agent…
I have so many characters and so many names it would take for-ev-er to list them all, but a few of my favorites are as follows. I’m only going to list historical fiction ones to save time.
Minor Characters:
Button Smallwood (Police Inspector)
Corrie (Cornelius)…[Read more] -

Ooh, I just thought of another favorite messed up protagonist.
Ebenezer Scrooge.
Seriously, I’m not joking. 😛

I have backed up my site before, but I don’t think it would work the same way for you. I would play it safe and just ask a techno geek (or two) what you should do.

That’s strange. I would have thought that any WordPress system would let you use the plugin. If you ever want to switch over to the WordPress.org system, (You’ll need to back up everything!) it is free other than the server, which for me, only costs $12 a year. Totally worth it.

I’ve never tried. I assume however you would do it on another system would work with them. Do you know how to give away a free ebook? If your book is permafree, then all you have to do is supply the link, but I would feel kinda cheesy giving away something that is already free. Is it a promo code maybe?

If you use WordPress, download the mailpoet plugin. I just started using it, and I really like it. It doesn’t care how old you are, and it is free up to 2000 subscribers.

Well, I just finished the webinar. If you missed it … I don’t know what to say. Big big bummer. It was fantastic. I had just finished reading a full book on marketing books, and I still learned some new and very helpful information. Did anyone else attend?

As for why a fantasy creature is evil, you seem still to not understand my question. [I didn’t mean demon. I meant fantasy creatures (which you think are connected to demons) incase there was any confusion] However, since I have tried to explain it three times, I think I had better let it rest. There is a difference between being able to talk…[Read more]

Thank you Sarah. I really enjoyed this discussion.
I believe I have stated all my arguments, and furthermore I believe each and every one of them was Biblically and logically sound, as I tried to explain. I may perhaps have failed to come across on some points, but I don’t know how to state them more clearly. So thank you. God bless! 🙂

Thanks Daeus— I was wondering that too, but didn’t quite know how to say it. You put it down very clearly. 🙂

Um … I meant you @Sarah-h. oooooops!
Thanks for those clarifications. I believe that there were giants after the flood, I’m just not convinced that some of those creatures you mentioned are their relatives.
I also don’t think you quite understood my question about what makes these evil creature inherently evil. You said that it is because they…[Read more]

I appreciate your frankness, Sarah, but a lot of your arguments are either logically unsound or built very heavily on assumption. Thank you for sharing with me and taking the time to try and convince me, but I’m still going to have to say I disagree.
But we already know the reasons for that, and still aren’t agreeing, so I don’t think further…[Read more]
