A world where everything is perfect. *Sigh* That would be nice.

@sarah-h They’re premade programs that you just download and start using. Think of it like an extra arm for a robot you already have – only instead of having to wire and screw the arm onto the preexisting robot, you can just clip it on and it starts working. WordPress plugins are similar to that. For instance, my contact form is a plugin. I simply…[Read more]

Oh perfect, @bluejay, perfect! 😛
@Daeus— great. 🙂 😉 🙂 😉 🙂 😉 🙂 😉 😛 😉
And thank you, @writefury, @hope, and @bluejay. All of those are very good suggestions. And I do that too, @hope— the contradictions thing. 🙂 I didn’t use to do it as much, but now I do, and it’s crazy fun. -

I take a quiet delight in setting the example. (I want an upside down emoji right about now: one with the tongue sticking out.)

w/o any good knowledge on this, I will proceed to ramble – not because I have stuff to say, but because I am wondering what I’ll say. I’m not sure. Maybe I’ll learn something from myself and then I’ll know it betterer.
I cannot tell you how many times I have done that. 😛
That test thing idea is a very good one— I may have to try that. Hm.…[Read more]

Oh yeah, and I just wrote my first ever (I think) scene from a female’s pov. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! Actually, I think it was ok, (probably because it was really short) but any tips are goody goody gumdrops.

I am going to recommend something I half stole – like all my bestistest ideas. Try a split test. Write the best character…[Read more]

Okay, so this is a kinda dumb problem for a GIRL to be having, but I really struggle sometimes to give my female protagonists distinct personalities without either making them too weak and helpless or too strong and overbearing.
I mean, I’ve been doing a LOT better with it lately (don’t ask me why, it’s just one of those things) but I’d still…[Read more] -

@hope I used the plugin WCP contact form. I liked it because it came with a captcha and didn’t cost anything.
I have not made a landing page yet because I don’t have my free offer written yet, but I will be working on that shortly.

That’s sweet @hope. btw Draft2Digital will do the formatting for you for your ebook if you want them to. Since I’m planning to use vellum, that doesn’t make much of a difference to me, but it is a neat feature and doesn’t cost anything.

Hey everyone,
There is a webinar coming up here soon that I thought you would all like. It is on getting influencers to promote your book. The guy who is doing it is amazing. I’ve read his books and they really help you with simple ways to do seemingly difficult things. He has helped hundreds of authors with online marketing including many…[Read more]
