…guess what? I’m going to be outlining my next project on Friday! Going hunting with my dad, and I’m going to take a notebook (or two 😛 ) and a pen and see how much I can get done just sitting in a blind all day. XD

@kate-flournoy Well, I don’t hold it against you. And at least now you know my sensitivities better. It was just such a vivid scene, and when the dragon said, “Our gift to you” and then Eragon fell into a trance or whatever it was, the irony of it was just so bitter it pulled at me like a leech.

@Leumeister yes, excellent idea. That way the emphasis is not on the goal itself, but why the antagonists/protagonist should or should not deserve/accomplish it, based on the rightness of their worldview.
