@sleepwalkingMK We have a heartbeat. 😀 I wish I could sit at my computer and say ‘Let there be words!’
@ethryndal Ew…rewriting. How’s that going for ya? I’m dreading that for when I’m finished editing my hard copy…
@kate-flournoy Not the slump! It must be a national things, because that’s me write now as well. I can’t seem to write…[Read more] -

@graciegirl I have read some of the Brotherband, though I haven’t gotten around to the fourth books yet. I think that I probably prefer Ranger’s, but Brotherband is also great!
@ethryndalThey say, “What’s this weird blob over here?” And you say, with a nonchalant shrug of your shoulders, “Art,” and they walk away, completely impressed.

@ethryndal I grant you pardon, so long as you commit no such wrong again 😉 I shall play around with ideas and see how it goes – I have a lot of time for this, which is nice 🙂

@ethryndal Ha, I got emailed this time 😉
Heeeeyy… that’s pretty good! I might be able to do something with that! I now remember a little story I read about animals at the beginning of the world, and the world was all in darkness, so the different animals travelled to get the light. It was also like one of those stories that explains why some…[Read more]

@ethryndal No worries there; I saw your comment 🙂
As for what my story’s going to be about, I’m not sure at this point. I started with a small idea about a candle and the different meanings lighting one could have, but I wasn’t feeling. I do have a half-written piece about how and why light and darkness are representatives of good and evil,…[Read more]

@christi-eaton Thanks! I’m excited about getting to know this place better. I must say, I honestly don’t see how it can get any more amazing. Its already beyond anything I’ve ever imagined. An ESTJ, wow. My complete opposite, this’ll be fun! 🙂 Good luck with those classes! I look forward to seeing you around!

@Sarah-H (Ding-ding-ding!!) We have a winner! 🙂 I think the longest camping trip I’ve ever been on was somewhere around 7-10 days. Last year for our Big Trip we circumnavigated Lake Michigan. It was AWESOME!! If you ever find yourself in the Michigan area, Luddington State Park and Union Bay Campground are my absolute favorites! At Union Bay we…[Read more]

@ethryndal All I know is that the closing date is April 19, so I have quite a bit of time. I don’t know when the winner will be announced or anything.
I shall copy-paste the requirements – I am open to any and all suggestions at this point 😀 I just want to point out I don’t believe this is a Christian magazine or contest, so I am going to avoid…[Read more]

@Ethryndal I figured. Hence the tag. 😉 No worries.
How lovely. I envision Maryland as being really lush and green, though maybe I’m confusing it with Maine. 😛
And hey, who needs drama if you can have fried chicken. -

Sorry about my absence, I had my wisdom teeth out last Monday and have been out of commission as well as wifi.
@ethryndal and @overcomer ‘s responses would probably be the closest to summing my thoughts up:
pulling everything together, and story planning. (I don’t do much, but it’s a nice idea, and if I could work it into what I DO do…) -

@Emma-Flournoy Haha, sorry, didn’t see this.
I’m from Maryland. *tries to think of something dramatic to say and can’t* Yeah. Maryland. We have fried chicken. 🙂

@ethryndal Good point. The ghosts of our past along with the pain we experience at the present is absolutely important in shaping who someone is.

Thanks, @sarah-h , @emma-flournoy , @ethryndal . I played “I’ll Fly Away” and “Amazing Grace” at the funeral today. I was terribly nervous and made lots of mistakes, but more people than I can count came up to me after the service to thank me and tell me that they enjoyed it, so I’m glad. I wanted to do this for my uncle, so … I’m glad I did.…[Read more]

@ethryndal Looks like a good basic setup there. Tying back to the theme, would you say your protagonist’s initial Experiment in Living really has to do with the fact that they superior races have more intrinsic worth to them?
Yes; absolutely! Developing Experiments in Living for other characters is crucial to broadening your story’s theme. We will…[Read more]

@emma-flournoy @ethryndal Thanks, guys! 😀 Normally I wouldn’t go for this since it’s such a small word limit, and I struggled to try one that had 1,7500 (2,500 more words than this) but the prize is… extremely generous and I do have something that I actually need it for. 🙂

You will be missed, Secret Lady of London.
I also have to take a break for a couple weeks (like 3) because we’re going on vacation and I won’t have access to wi-fi. 🙁 But I’ll be back!!!

You’re actually not wrong. It IS lush and green. Lots of farms. Cows. Hills. Overall, a very underrated state. In my humble opinion. 😉
Aaaaaand what state do YOU live in?
Ohhhh how gorgeous!
Oops, I figured you knew already since you’d been reading the introductions…mebbe I didn’t say there. 😛
Ohio. With…caves! In the Hocking Hills, where we run a cabin business in the treeish hills. 🙂 And the main tourist attraction around is caves/overhangs with their waterfalls. Very pretty. *nods*
Ha, I’m so dumb. It says that right in your profile. XD
I didn’t know Ohio has caves! Maybe I should have… Now I want to see one. Especially with the waterfalls. *dreamy sigh* I somehow knew you had a cabin business though, so my snooping hasn’t been entirely useless. 🙂
Eh well, I guess someday you’ll just have to take a trip here. 😉
Hey, ya never know… 😛 😀
