@ethryndal It actually grows on me the more I see it. Looking like a Russian novelist has always been a partial-dream of mine. 😉

@ethryndal I was almost tempted to try myself, but I knew there were better artists on here, and whatever I produced would probably end up looking more a warped Radagast with a bloated fish than a Russian writer with an evil frog.

@Ethryndal… Oh. My. Goodness.
THAT IS SO PERFECT! HIS BEARD, HIS FACE, (it’s so recognizable) THE FROG… YOU EVEN GOT IT TO GRIN EVILLY!!!! This just made my day. Totally. @aratrea, you should put that as your avatar.@daeus I think I’ll plan the first launch of your take-over; I’m thinking multi-colored balloons popping out of boxes and…[Read more]

@ethryndal *chokes* That… that is hysterical. I can’t believe how much the face looks like him while also looking so… off. XD And that frog. I get the impression that ‘The Wiser’ is somewhat indulgent while his frog keeps everyone in line when he isn’t looking.

There are no words to express my amusement @ethryndal 😀 This will definitely go down in KeePer history.

@Ethryndal XD XD XD That is amazing. @Aratrea you could put that as a picture with your credentials—Josiah the Wiser, on your video series or books of advice to growing writers. 😀
Btw @Anne-of-Lothlorien, @SleepwalkingMK is an ENFP. Also, if you’re not very extroverted, how do you know you aren’t an INFP? *wiggles eyebrows* Maybe you are. :D…[Read more]

@ethryndal Wow; I’m getting major “Russian author” vibes from that sketch, so it’s really hard for me to complain about having that look! 😛 Probably the closest to Dostoevsky I’ll ever get. 😉

@ethryndal For some reason, it’s not letting me respond to that thread… :/ Anyway, I’ve been on KP for maybe a year, just not very active until now. The “Stewards of the Pen” thing kind of gave me an incentive to do more, you know, find time! 😉 How about you?
That’s fun. How close are your siblings to you in age? I have 8 younger siblings,…[Read more] -

Please someone, anyone, I implore you on bended knee… draw Josiah the Wiser, sporting his scraggly coarse tarantula beard, with a frog (grinning evilly) on his head. Anyone who can draw, please try… if you need references, just look at his avatar, or watch the Stereotype videos

@that_writer_girl_99 You can write about different things but with a consistent theme or style.
I don’t think @ethryndal has a theme, but she certainly has a style. I really think every blogger should have a style. Nonfiction can be an art form too.
If you can have a theme though, go for it. For instance, you may not want to write about…[Read more]

*pokes head in door* What? Did someone mention me? *scrolls through conversation*
@that_writer_girl_99 So I’ve been blogging for almost two years. Not super impressive, but I guess I know enough to share something. I’ve had two blogs, and only one is currently running. I started my blog because I didn’t want to always write books 24/7,…[Read more] -

Thanks for the feedback, guys!
@daeus Well…you were half right about why I’m thinking about starting a blog. I want it to be an outlet, not just a platform. The entire idea is still under consideration, but I want to be able to write about whatever I want. Focusing on just one topic would get boring after a while.
@ethryndal You sell yourself…[Read more]

I can’t actually do any writing right now, but I wanted to leave a question here for y’all to answer.
For the KeePers who have a blog…why did you start it? What do you generally post on there?I’m considering starting one, but I’m not totally sold on the idea. What would I post on it? What would I talk about?

@winter-rose @ethryndal Thank you for your help! Yes, I think I am going to have him react in anger. I just emailed my English teacher and she suggested going off the idea in the Bible where Moses kills the Egyptian. I liked that suggestion and actually was thinking of it already. I’ll just have to be careful to not make it the same as another…[Read more]

@ethryndal So, I am curious, are you and Anne of Lothlorein any sort of relations?
-
@ceaseless-prayer Erm…no, not really. Don’t even know each other except through KP. Now I’m curious—why’d you think so? *lowers voice* Is it because of the elf thing? 😉
-
Hehe, well, sort of, more because you guys picked the same “country/ region” whatever. ;), & because you talk sort of similarly, if that makes sense. 😉 I notice my sisters & I tend to say things in similar ways. So, do you have any siblings or anything on KP? 🙂
-
That’s so funny! I never realized that. Maybe we’re long lost sisters or something. 😛
Alas, I have no siblings on KP. I like to pretend that everyone’s my siblings to combat the loneliness. 😉 How about you? Is your sister on KP?
-
Maybe!! Haha.
Yes, I am blessed, I have three sisters on KP. 😉 You’re welcome to share, if you like. ;p Do you have any siblings?-
Aw, that’s so cool! I have two siblings, a brother and a sister.
So how long have you been on KP? I don’t recall seeing you around that much.

@ceaseless-prayer Huh. It did that to me a couple days ago. Weird.
Ah yes, the Stewards of the Pen thing. I wish I had social media just so I could promote this awesome place. 🙂 I’ve been here for about six months. It’s crazy though, because I FEEL like I’ve been here forever, and have known these people my whole life.

It is fun. It’s nice to have so many KPers with big families, most people think it is weird, or at least odd. Do you enjoy having older siblings? I always wanted some. I kind of adopt my friends’ My best friend is the second youngest of eight, & we’ve been BF since K-5, so I don’t…[Read more]
Older siblings are fun. But you know, my siblings are so close to me in age that it’s not really like having older siblings, if you know what I mean. We’re more like partners in crime. 😉 And hey, adopted siblings are almost as good as the real thing, am I right? I also know a family with eight kids (how coincidental is that? XD), three of which…[Read more]
Yeah, I do, I don’t really feel like my eighteen & sixteen-year old sisters are younger than me. I’m 20, so, your sister’s age? 😉 Yeah, almost. 😉 We have a wonderful church where we are all really close, kind of like a big extended family. Where do you guys go to church? Me neither. I think it’s wonderful!
