Kinda related to slang (I guess) I find that a lot of Americans say stuff in really odd ways XD Especially words with T’s, they say them as D’s. “Doday, liddle, muddering,” are just some examples 🙂

And like someone mentioned, the like thing, but I know some Aussies that do that to 😉 (I personally am trying very hard to not do that) I think…[Read more]

*grins* Just had to throw that in there, huh? @holly-nelson-gray

Cool beans, guys.

@holly-nelson-gray Well then you haven’t really watched Fireman Sam 😉

@elizabeth Now, I usually watch stuff with my family. Right now it’s Gilmore Girls, Star Trek: Voyager, Seinfeld, I recently finished Full House. But we don’t watch a lot of TV either (and what we do watch is on Netflix or Stan) We have watched some of When Calls the Heart…[Read more]

*chokes* They have an Australian Ninja Warrior? @holly-nelson-gray

It’s funny, because all of the ones @holly-nelson-gray mentioned, I don’t recognize, but @perfectfifths –yes, yes! Bob the Builder, Berenstein bears (or however you spell it) Yes.

Books. I love books. I read (and watched) Magic School Bus and loved it.

What about now that y’all are older? What shows do y’all watch?

@holly-nelson-gray Did you at least see the original clay-mation one, rather than the new CGI? :O

Oh, yes, and like @holly-nelson-gray, Bear in the Big Blue House 😀 Oh, and Fireman Sam and Bob the Builder XD

Books, I had one called Dear Zoo, which was a favourite. Guess How Much I Love You, I’ll Love You Forever, You Are Special. Mum read a lot of classics to us. We had some…[Read more]

Hm, I wonder if @christi-eaton would be annoyed if I tagged her to answer that question. @holly-nelson-gray

Christi, do Californians surf a lot?

Haha.

@perfectfifths @jane-maree @holly-nelson-gray Wanted to ask y’all what books or TV shows you grew up reading as a kid? I want to see if there’s any similarities between there and here, in America.

Although, I’m not sure if Holly is an Aussie? We haven’t talked much…so, hi. How’s it goin? @holly-nelson-gray

@that_writer_Girl_99 The stereotype, I guess. But I think now that it can’t be a stereotype because I know that I do it more than not. 😛

California? Never been there. But I can tell you that Canadians do, honest to goodness, say “eh” after almost everything. @dragon-snapper

Very cool. @jane-maree
