Can I just pop in here for one teensy moment to say—isn’t Kate awesome? Kate is awesome. I’m done now. *disappears in a cloud of glitter*

@Daeus Yay, maybe I’ll actually be able to make it to this one! I’ve had to miss them all so far due to…life… 🙂

@Emma-Flournoy Hey, it’s us! 😀
Yes, we finally watched Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Words fail me. That was…the weirdest…and the most hilarious thing I think I’ve ever seen.

@Emma-Flournoy Oh no, that’s so sad! I’ll be praying.

Or is that my writer coming out? XD

@that_writer_girl_99 Another thing is to always study. Everywhere you go, everyone you see. Just study it. What shape is that person’s eyes? How far away from the nose is the mouth? Most sidewalks are cracked. A lot of trees have oddly shaped branches. How tall compared to a human is a park bench? People’s elbows are places right where their waist…[Read more]

@Emma-Flournoy Aw, thanks. I’ve finally learned to go talk to my mom when I’m feeling depressed, because just having her know what I’m going through takes some of the weight off of my shoulders.
I think we’re kindred spirits. Telepathic. 🙂

@Dragon-Snapper I second everything @Kate-Flournoy and @That_writer_girl_99 said. When things don’t seem to be working (this goes for everything, not just POV), it sometimes helps to experiment and come at it from a different angle.

Hey, I just want to pop in here and say, it’s so encouraging seeing you all be open about your struggles. Depression (from writing AND life) is something I’ve struggled with myself, but I’ve always felt like I needed to keep it hidden and be happy all the time, or people might think less of me. It’s nice to know I’m not alone there, and that…[Read more]

@That_Writer_Girl_99 Hey! Concerning what you said in Prayer Requests—I’ve struggled with loneliness and depression myself, and am still working through huge amounts of overwhelmed-ness, so I completely understand where you are. If you ever need someone to talk to, or just a bit of encouragement, I thought I’d let you know that I’m here.…[Read more]

@that_writer_girl_99 Awww, I’ll be praying for you. I was in the same boat once (still am, partly), but trust me, God’s got it all worked out. Remember, you’ve got your KP buddies backing you every step of the way. 🙂

@that_writer_girl_99 School is such a party-pooper. *waves back* *thinks a moment* *bestows Elven blessing upon you* *and glitter* Oh, and all that stuff about the hammer? Just… *guilty look* disregard. I’m a very gentle Elf. All I need to intimidate people is my armada of creepy smiles and fits of green rage. 😀

@Dragon-Snapper *facepalm* Duh. What kind of a fan am I when I can forget about the good ol’ black arrows? XO Arg. Yigh, you better watch out for bees.

@that_writer_girl_99 I would imagine the same way Smaug’s did. WHICH was never explained. Fortunately, @Dragon-Snapper is way smarter than Smaug.

@that_writer_girl_99 Elves never jump to conclusions. 😛 But yes, I’m pretty sure it works just fine on family members. Note the blood on it. (It’s a magic, Elven hammer. Doesn’t kill people.)

@Aratrea I don’t think the finality of death had ever hit her before. She was always too worried about dying for the sake of a mortal to think about it the other way round, so when ‘died’ because of her, it startled her. It was something she’d never considered.

WONDERFUL! It’s so hilariously insane, I know. 😀 The square-dancing/barn-raising scene nearly kills us with laughter every time, and others too (like the ‘sobbin’ women’ sequence’). Isn’t it great though?! Which brother was your favorite?
Huh. Dat’s weird. I got your reply by email, but it’s not here. Huh.
Anyway. Gideon’s my favorite too! I love his and Adam’s relationship especially. 😀
And I know, it’s such a catchy line. You can’t help it. I say it all the time too. (And William can imitate the shopkeeper’s voice wonderfully, when she says “My window!” with such…[Read more]
