Our generation needs good fiction. Sure there’s a lot of good YA fiction out there, but there’s also a lot of bad YA fiction too. I was just at the library and reading the blurbs of some new books, and I can’t believe that young adults are actually reading some of this stuff! So many authors are trying to push their agendas and tell their readers what to think. This is why we, as Christian writers, need to keep on striving to write good fiction. Instead of pushing agendas, we need to be displaying truths that challenge readers and writing themes that tackle hard questions. We need to be writing fiction that doesn’t necessarily say what our culture and society wants to hear, but what they need to hear. The world needs truth, especially our generation. So keep on writing! If God has called you to write, then your efforts won’t be in vain. ✨

“The Preacher sought to find words of delight, and uprightly he wrote words of truth.”
    ‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭12‬:‭10‬ (ESV) ‭

“My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite my verses for the king; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭45‬:‭1‬ ‭(NIV‬‬)

“I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter insightful sayings of old, which we have heard and known, what our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, but will tell the coming generation the praises of the Lord, and His strength, and the wonderful works that He has done.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭78‬:‭2‬-‭4‬ ‭(MEV‬‬)
