It’s ok… just really busy XD.
I’m nearing the endish of a short story I’m hoping to get published. If I can’t find a farther reaching site to publish to, I’ll get it published here on kp. I’m taking an art class at the local community college, and my mom’s driving me because I can’t yet. I’m going to get my license soon though. It feels like every moment of my day is filled with something, almost to the point where I miss being bored… time really flies when you live like that XD. I wake up, draw and clean, go to class, make lunch then do schoolwork, then practice driving or write. And I guess social media is somewhere in the middle of all that. I’m glad I still have time, but idk.
I like our church, but I’m feeling like less a part of it. It’s a lot of really nice elderly people, and as much as I enjoy their compliments on how cute I am (lol) I don’t think they really want to know me. It might seem like a small thing, but it’s a little hurtful to me. I’m too old to talk to the kids of our church, and too young for the older people to think of me as an equal.
And then my mom is trying to get my sister set up on her own, and she might take a flight to visit her, which would leave me home alone with my dad. That’s not all that bad, but if something goes wrong, I don’t consider him a solid reliable contact, and I don’t really have another.
So yep… just growing up is confusing. But writing and God is really what’s been keeping me anchored.

Your welcome! I’m glad you’re one of those people who answers honestly, and not just the routine, “I’m fine!” “Good!” “Etc.”, ya know? 😊 (Ok… I sometimes answer like that, but most of the time it’s the truth. 😂)

Sounds pretty busy. 😕 But it is what it is and you’re making it work. 😄 I suppose I should enjoy the times when I am bored while I still have the chance, lol. How soon do you think you’ll get your liscence?
I totally understand that. 😅 Our church was like that. We’re pretty small, and for the past few months, the youth group has only been me and my brother and two of my friends. Our church has a lot of older people in it. Not as many as it’s had in the past, but still a majority. But, actually, this most recent Sunday was our last Sunday there. So we’re looking for a new church that hopefully has more kids that are me and my siblings’ ages.
Oh, ok. That must be tough. 😕 I’ll be praying for you, girl! 🙂
Yep! I’m so glad God is always there for us. He is a sure and steady anchor in the crazy storms of life. 😊
Thanks for asking! Life’s pretty good, actually. There are some unknowns right now, like how I mentioned that we just left our church. I have no idea how long we’ll be looking for a new church, so we’re just following the Lord’s guidance.
But we’ve also just got some great news about my Mom! There was tissue that the doctor’s thought may be cancer, but they examined it and found out it wasn’t!!! So we’re really happy about that, because we were praying that it wasn’t. 😊
School’s almost over!!! 🥳 We’ve got about three weeks left! I’m so ready for school to be done. 😮💨😂 And throughout the summer I’ll be babysitting a kid once a week, so I’ll be making some good money, lol. 😁
That’s pretty much all that’s going on right now. 😄
Yw! Lol, I answer differently depending on whatg I think the other person wants to hear. Not everyone wants to hear about my life, therefore they don’t get to XD.
I might be getting it published to kp, so I’m not going to say anything about it lol!
I might be getting it pretty soon! Idk exactly when, I have about 4 hours of practice or so left to do plus the drive test. And yeah, relish your boredom while it’s there lol.

That’s awesome!! You’re in the homestretch! Driving is still a few years down the road for me. I’m not sure if I should be glad about that or disappointed. 😆 (Let’s just say that as soon as I get my license, I want my Dad to teach me how to do donuts in a snowy parking lot. 😂)
